Lieutenant Insignia PvE please!! A Warriors Concern

The Lieutenant's Helm is a piece of Warrior headgear not belonging to an armor set. While reducing the duration of Hexes cast on its wearer by 20%, the Lieutenant's Helm has only 60 AL (+10 vs. physical attacks) and no +1 attribute as a trade-off. Help me get Anet to patch Guild Wars so Lieutenant Insignias can be purchased at the Rune Trader (Role Playing)!!

You can get them in PvE they drop on armors i've found about 3 of them.

Bit odd that the trader doesn't sell them, he also lists unknown when you go to sell, then offer you the basic 25 gold.

Personally I can't see why anyone would want it.

Still think it be convenient for rune trader to sell them though. I would tell you my interests in this Insignia, but not here publicly. Its a warrior's secret.

Got all 3 from chests, my guess is not enough drop or people buy them straight away.

Since i've found 3 they can't be THAT rare. Mind you they were all from chests and i've opened over 1000 lately.

I have seen a few of them as well.. I think I seen someone selling one for 10k the other day since they are rare...but it seems as if it would take a long time to find the select few who would want one.... One reason they may not be at the trader is that most people don't know thier use and therefore do not salvage them to sell to the trader...because at first glance they appear to be worthless...it is only certain places/builds that can actually take advantage of this.

I have one and have been keeping it as it is unusual. Does anyone know what sort of builds or situations this may come in useful? I was keeping it in case I ever found out.

The original Lt. Helm from Denravi used to have a 50% hex reduction time. They were invaluable for Droks runners where the armor reduction didn't matter very much at all. With the change down to 20% they're pretty much useless now. You're better off with the extra armor and just removing the hexes.

If you think they are useless, Ill be glad to have them.

Supply and demand. Just like bloodstained insignia took a week or two to apear at traders, so will this one.

You can of course repeatedly hit the trader to see if you can catch one in supply.

The helm still has uses, it's still handy when running around. I used in on FoW spider farmer.

If I went hunting for the Lieutenant Insignia, what would be the best place to farm, and would henches/heroes limit my chances of ever getting this rare item?

Well solo is always the best way to farm, but since it comes on an armor there's probably no best place to look, unless you try chests which can get expensive, I got mine from Vabbi chests.

Remember to look in NF only as well.

If you were wanting to try the chest route mine also came from a Vabbi chest...although I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to get them from any chest...

i got one ages ago but sold it to trader, i can't remember where i got it from, but most likely from a monster drop as i rarely open chests (i don't buy keys)

While reducing the length of time for a hex is nice, your much better off removing the hex as some will cause more dmg if ther on you for a shorter period of time.

Wastrel's Worry and Lightning Surge come to mind!

If you really are searching for it, keep in mind that insignias drop on any lvl of armor so you can find it on blue armor in the new section.
