I thought the last day for the Wintersday thingy was the 1st? Now the 3rd and still it's not been changed back. Did I miss something?

I think Anet is giving everyone time to cash in the shards. Since the Wintersday Gift giver is new... Then probably go back to status quo all at one time.

My guess is that we're going to see some sort of update/skill balance at the same time they take winter away, but they're still having some problems tweaking that new update. Maybe we'll see the change in the Sunspear title or the Skill Hunter title when they take winter away.

Last year, Winter lasted through the weekend after January 1st. I would guess the same would occur this year.

I ain't upset about it. Infact, I am farming the CC shards still. As I stated, I just wanted to know if I'd missed something about it. I got the answer I wanted so the thread can be closed. Seems to be the norm for Wintersday to drag on from what you guys say, so alls well.

If you've participated in any other GW festival events, you know that the decorations and collectors stay up at least a few days after the event is over. Yes, last wintersday the stuff stayed up for a full week after the "finale."
