Desolation Sword Req9

Hi, i got a Desolation Sword (req9) max dmg.. but it is .....purple in the rare guide its all gold i suppose. a purple the?

I recently sold 3 req 9 purple swords with skins off the rare skin list. aerowind went for 1k, briar blade went for 2k, fanged went for 12k. They started with 1k and 2k s/b IIRC.

I've seen people say that purple rare skin items will sell for ~15% of their gold counterparts. I think that's a very general rule, though - maybe like 15% +/- 12%?? People buying the gold ones are paying a premium for that gold text. People buying the purple ones like the skin but aren't willing to pay the cost of gold ones. I'm not at all sure how favored the desolation swords are these days. I remember trying to sell a gold deso a while back and seeing people say that while rare, it's not one of the really favored skins.

My best guess is 2-5k for it. You'll probably have to hunt for a buyer.

Depending on what mods it has (perfect or near perfect) you might be better off salvaging and selling the pieces. Check the mod price sticky in this forum.

I'm FAR from a PC expert, so if one of the PC regulars tells you otherwise, believe them over me!
