Greetings to you all!
I was wondering what types of damage various pets can do - I have heard that Elder Wolves deal Poision, whilst Bears interupt their foes. Is this true?
I have checked http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Animal_companion and I can't locate any of this information regarding different types of dmg! The other question I have is, do Elder Pets maintain a higher dmg than a built up pet from a lower level even when it's lvl 20?
It also mentions that pets confirmed not to grow are White Tigers and I have a lvl 5 tiger when charmed and its now lvl 19, so how does this comply with the wiki comments?
Pets and types of damage - info required!

The Pet Guide in the Community Works section of this forum will answer all your questions much better than any other source I can think of.
Poison, interrupts, anything like that coming from any species of pet is just bogus. All that comes only from the skills you use with the pet. For all intents and purposes, any pet you can charm is just as good as any other. The notable difference is that the bear is WORSE over time than any other, because it uses Brutal Mauling which is slower than an auto-attack but provides no benefit to its attack at all (while it is your pet).
All pets of x level do the same damage, whether you leveled them from level 1 or you charmed them at level 20. Their evolution is the only thing that changes their output.
And all pets evolve, unless they're glitched, at level 11 and level 15. Try using /petname, changing your pet's name, and then using /petname again to recycle the title.
Again, consult the pet guide for the answers to all your pet questions.
