I just purchased the ancient leggings, and voila, my hole in my stomach just showed up and there is nothing I could do about it. I don't want to replace it, I was hoping to see how it would look like. I tried restarting the game, still nothing. and not only that, people could see it!
I've also had a problem with my shoes. my ankle shoes, and no it's not like that. >_> i reported the shoes problem to anet months ago, but... I guess they're busy. I hope the same thing doesn't happen with the skirt. Going around partially invisible makes me a bit uneasy... i highly doubt theres a trick I could do to make the skirt fully show. I've had that glitch on my shoes for months, and nothing happened. anyway, I hope the message goes out to the anet, and that they'll help me out.
