Post-Update Dye Guide

In my quest to find the perfect dye color, I noticed that there are no dye guides with post-update dye mixes. This is a growing database for dye mixes on various armor types. All contributions are more than welcome! We are currently rennovating the charts, the list here on the first post will be updated often, so look here first. We have the preview window, so why exactly do we need this thread? On top of that, the color in the preview window doesn't exactly match what you see on the armor.

Because not everyone wants to buy dyes from the trader only to find out that they don't want them, or spend hours and hours searching for that perfect hue.

If I could get my hands on a single Black Dye, I'd be able to do the shots for Assassin's 15K Kurzick (Male)... I already have all the other dye colours (at least two each, and I have no clue how I managed to find two White Dyes within a single week without even trying)...

This thread is about to get very very messy. OP, I recommend a way to organize this, as looking through 6000 pages of the threads post to find your armor will be quite time consuming. Awesome work though! I'd love to help out with some armor I have.... perhaps organizing something on the wiki would be better?? There is already a page for each armor type for male and female. We could add all the pics to those pages?

I suggest having each armor set its own page linked to the first post of this thread, otherwise it will become difficult to manage.

Temporarily it may be a good idea to link to the individual posts from the starting post.

anyone have or know how to get clear and pure blue for warrior 15k kurz??? I keep getting purplish and it's annoying as #$^%@

You could always ask one of the mods to help you with it. But, to add it to the 1st post: Quote them, copy the text without the quote tags, edit your first post, copy the stuff in it, and voila.

Ever since they revamped the dye system, I haven't been able to find any dye charts to coordinate with the new system (did any dye charts for the new system even EXIST before this one?).

Yeah, I think perhaps the first post should be edited to include links to all of the already-contributed combinations.

15k Canthan Single Dye:

Remember that some Male Assassin armors sometimes turn out lighter than normal, almost like it has gray dyes built into the armor.
I'll give you an example:

I had to do 1 blue dye + 2 gray dyes for my Lion Mask to match my armor set on my Sin. And even then the Lion Mask was still darker.

with all 1 and 2 dye combinations. (also took all the 3 dye and a lot of the 4s before I realized that it would take way too long to do all armors like that).

I'll post up the lot once I figure out a macro to crop, resize, and save all the images

If you get a macro figured/found to do the croping, resizing and saving, please please share it. Thats most of the reason I haven't gone back to doing charts, I just got too tired of putting them together.
