well when I had come back from my last deployment, I was fully expecting to be able to complete a few more professions. due to the packed schedule that the Navy is flying with now and another upcoming deployment, completion of this project for me is once again on hold.

hey guys, i was wondering if people could start doing some Male Ranger guides, especially for the Monument armor! thanx in advance.

They aren't perfect. I didn't hover the dye so it showed the type of dye in the previews. But I do see that you need these additions to this guide.

my photobucket account is due for its annual payment. I'm stuck on a ship (with restricted internet) in the mediterranean so unable to pay it again until I get back from deployment. Looks like a lot of people still use it since the 25 gb limit when its unpaid got used up in the first week of this month . ..

Anyway we can help you pay it? I sure do use your guide alot, and would like to contribute. I don't know too much about photobucket's pay system however.

its $40 a year for a pro account.

Paypal, credit card, and check are the possible options but I can't use my credit card or checks onboard the ship and my paypal account hasn't been updated in a few years (since the last time I used ebay) so my banking information isn't up to date on it.

If you'd like to help, I guess you could just send money through paypal but I'd rather pay for it myself just to avoid the headache of people complaining that I'm just asking for money. Hopefully next port we pull into I'll be able to get online and be able to get this thing back up and running.

For contributors, here's the format I've been using:
Have the chest, gloves, and leggings of the same type of armor for consistency's sake (if the gloves can't be seen as is the case such as in some of the mesmer armors, then don't worry about the gloves)
Change graphics settings to highest possible.
Make Dye preview window as small as possible.
Zoom in as much as possible.
Remove head gear and weapons (if it shows in the dye preview window).
Turn your character so its at the same angle as my other dye guides in this thread.
Arrange dyes in alphabetical order (black, blue, brown, gray, green, orange, purple, red, silver, white, yellow).
Move your cursor over the dye so we can see the dye name.

When comparing the dye guides, they should all look the same (angle of character, size, order of dyes, etc).

Anyone have a good combo for a pink Grenth Regalia? My friend really wants it to be pink. We've been searching and trying things out...no luck so far.

Have tried:

Red + White
Red + Silver
Red + Purple + White
Red + Purple + Silver
Yellow + Purple
Blue + Orange

I know it sounds lame, but it's what he wants, haha! Any suggestions?

What kind of pink (deep, hot pink or a paler pastel pink) is he after?

Have a couple of combo's for a (very) deep, fuschia type pink, if he wants more of a pastel 'pretty' pink, hi might be out of luck - it's not looking like that costume takes too well to paler colors.

Red, red + purple (or + purple + brown/black) will give a deep pink, substitute in gray for the brown/black gives a slightly lighter version.

Just can't seem to get a nice light pink though (best I can do is like a pale dusky mauve type color).

If it turns out to be a hot pink type of colour, he'd be pleased...he wants to look ridiculous, lol!

He did try the red + red + purple, but i don't know if he tried adding in brown, black or grey...will have to try that. Thank you for the suggestion! I will upload a pic with the final result, haha! And if you see a pink Grenth running around, it just might be him!

It would be nice to have an updated index. I have more male sets on the way soon (ele Norn and monk Canthan). Eventually I will have some male para armors, too.

Does anyone still use these? I still see my photobucket limit getting reached every month. I'm finally off of sea duty and am being transferred to TN for the Navy for shore duty so will probably have more time again. If there's some interest still, I'll start paying for the photobucket account again so there's no limit and maybe do some more of the armors.
