I have two questions:
I am playing GW GOY edition. WHen I log in, the splash says Nightfall. From the quests/missions I see, it looks like I am playing Prophecies. Can someone tell me for certain that I am playing Prophecies?
Also, will I run into trouble if I stay logged on, in a city, while not actively playing?
Thank you in advance for your help!

If you've got a town called "Ascalon City" on your map, you're playing Prophecies. If you see Shing Jea Monestary, that's factions. For Nightfall, look for Chahbek Village or Kamadan.
No you' won't run into trouble by staying logged on. The only thing that will happen is after 2 or 3 hours, a message will appear in the chat window say you need to take a break.

KooK summed it up. Also, if you have Ashford Abbey you are in prophecies pre searing.
If you had all the towns he listed, you have all the games. That is okay.
Also, you will not get in trouble for goin AFK in a town although it is pointless because login takes like 2 seconds heh.

Everyone gets the same splash screen and character selection screens. They're upgraded every time a new chapter comes out.
On the Character Selection screen, the info box in the top left corner will say what campaign your character is from (Prophecies; Factions; Nightfall).
Also, the Character creation screen's first or second choice is to ask what campaign you want to create the character in. Only the games keys you have added to this account will be active.
