Magmas Shield req 8 non-NF perfect stats

so what do you guys think?

I had a zodiac shield with those EXACT same stats that I ended up selling for 200k but probally could have pulled out more but was lazy

I'd say since this is MUCH harder to find.. a nice, perfect req 8 magmas, at least 700-800k+.... not too sure tho, could go much over that

but i'm sure there are some out there who think the magmas is hideous, so beauty is in the eye of the beholder, i guess.

yea, this is the first time i've seen this combination of stats on a non-inscribable shield. pretty cool that it's on a req 8 magmas too.

honestly if you can find a very interested 2 or 3 buyers it would go way over 800k.
i'd say shoot for 500k+

i bought a req 11 15^50 mursaat hammer for 20K and sold it for 100K and 12 ecto thats my lucky time

round 500K+ if you set it on auction on the site and if you have some buyers prices go up 2 700K

If you sold it 3 months ago, is it really a big surprise that it has ended up in someone else's hands?

Thank you, everyone, for the responses so far. Now allow me to add my own two cents (not as the proud owner of this damn fine shield but as an ex-trader, from as neutral a perspective as possible).

What we have here, ladies and gentlemen, is an item that is, I believe, truly unique and rare. Max gold req 8 magmas shields with perfect stats really don't come along very often. And what makes this even rarer, besides the unusual combination of stats, is the fact that it cannot be modded. It may not be the conventional definition of "perfect" stats on a shield (30/-2st or 30/-5(20%)) but it is certainly a fine example of perfection nonetheless (and I'm sure most who appreciate true rarity in this game can understand my perspective).

A req 10 30/-2st magmas sold for 330 ectos about 5 months ago and a req 8 version with the same stats went for ... hmmm can't quite recall now, but alot of ectos, that would be obvious.

A req 10 45st/-2st magmas sold for 100k+115ectos about 5 months ago (my old shield ) and a req 8 version sold for 350 ectos 3 months ago.

Of course, all/most items are depreciating in value as time goes by, but if a req 8 30/-5(20%) (non-inscribable) magmas shield appeared today, I'd say it would easily sell for ~350-450 ectos, perhaps even more if a bidding war ensues, which, for a magmas with those stats, is almost guaranteed.

So scaling down from that estimate, taking into consideration the combination of stats on this particular shield we have before us, I would pc it at ~100-130 ectos.

Definitely a collector's piece.

then why do u ask for a pc if u dont move form your ideas? i'd say 500k max on this, collector piece but few people will be interested in this for usage...

I think you've misunderstood my previous post. When someone responds to a PC thread with a price range for an item, it is usually based on their own personal experiences and observations in trading. Some people PC items based off a feeling though, and that may or may not be accurate.

The PC range I gave, along with the points I considered in reaching that value, is what I would've said to anyone who requested a PC on this shield at this time. Not all responses have to be "ya i agree with so-and-so because he knows what he's talking about and i'm just a mindless sheep who wants to up my post count" ... or something similar.


See, just as you have your own opinion on what this shield is worth, although you neglected to provide any information/logic on why you feel it's worth 500k max. But that seems to be the general practice, and I appreciate your input anyway.


Well, let's make this more interesting then, shall we? Let's both put our money where our mouths are.

If you're up for it, let's have a little bet. When the time comes for me to sell this shield, if the final price is 500k or less, I will give you 500k. If the final price is anything over 500k, you will give me 500k. (And I know 500k will hardly tickle you once you sell your GotH for 400+ ectos. )
How does that sound?

(Although I'm not too sure when this shield will be up for sale because I actually bought it to use on my warrior, so I guess I must be one of those few people you mentioned who's interested in this for usage. )

That was once my shield as well, long long ago :P but maybe 500k i guess...just those stats aren't very useful

sound that i'm not slightly interested in buying this. i'm not a collector and this shield isnt any usefull to me i wouldnt pay 100k for it.

so, a shield like this has never been sold i guess, it's perfect and req8, so despite is not the best combination of mods i guess anything can happen in an auction. goes on luck it's kinda unpredictable how many people will feel to go for it. u can get anywhere from 100ectos to as high as u want, if there's anyone ready to pay that much your thinking -may happen, may not, who knows-
