I spent a long, long time tryng to farm it too. Luckily for me, when I got really frustrated and wanted to pwn that noob to death I went with a full team of henchies and it dropped. Maybe try that, worked for me, but that was probably just really lucky.

Yes its not the easiest scythe to farm due to mass enchantment removal. Your best chance is probaly to wipe out all her surronding mobs then send them off to grey, while you and a mesmer try and deal enought damage to kill her.

I got one with a War by hurting her till she is almost dead with henchies, make Olias Degen her, then flag them. Her health stayed still for the most part, then I popped up both ripostes (stacked dmg ftw) and killed her when she used 1 attack.
That's how I got one, but it was mostly by luck because the run is really hard and takes way too long to be profitable.
As for the surround mobs, 2 other heroes surrounding is tedious -.-

I believe the skin is identical to the Suntouched Scythe, which happens to be what you get from collectors and weaponsmiths. I would just get one of those, add a sundering (or better yet, vampiric) and enchanting mod to it. So much easier, and probably cheaper than buying it too.

Thats pretty much true.. everything with the exception of the handle is identical to the Suntouched Scythe.. the handle is pure white. Ok i just got done farming this scythe and it did drop about the 4th time out there with a 3 person team.. try that is my suggestion.. though the there are some mesmers around her but if you get somebody to wipe them out first its not so bad. cause Dwayna was only doing about 34 damage to me per hit. I was just capping her Elite with full hero/henchie party when her Scythe dropped for me, maybe thats her thing...dropping for hench filled party
