Yes, welcome to this thread. As we all know, each time you enter RA/TA/AB arenas. You encounter a leecher, or a leaver. A person that enters the battle and just laugh on the other side of the screen to win faction without having to do anything. Or the other type, the leaver. Enters battle, doesnt see a monk or he thinks the team will get smashed. Therefor he leaves.
This is something we pvp players dislike, alot. We need to do something about it, and I think it's time I suggest something.
That little something is called Faction penalty.
We know about the disconnection thing, if a player gets disconnected under a match the other players will be aware of it and continue. Theres nothing the disconnected can do. But if that is not the case and the player is just standing in base, eating pizza behind the screen and just "leeches" we will know that.
(Also suggesting if this is not implemented, that players will be aware if the player has come back to battle after disconnection)
So my suggestion is that the players that "leech", are standing still for more than 1 minute lose a certain amount of faction, and get a Faction Penalty. Sure, you can leech, but you will have to move in order to not have a Faction Penalty. I am not talking about 1 faction each time you are afk for more than 1 minute. I am talking 100-500 Faction each time. Yes, maybe you have to run to the toilett, or have to go and do something. But then you just have to deal with of losing the certain amount of faction. PvP is often taken more serious than PvE and therefor you should go to the toilett, make a sandwich or w/e before entering battle.
The time of "afk" can be discussed ofcourse. But 1 minute sounds nice to me.
To the leavers, well thats simple. Leaving before battle time ended (RA for example) will result in a 1k Faction Penalty loss.
What do you PvP Players think? Could this type of thing be something new to prevent this?
Thanks /a non-serious PvP player, but this annoyes me to pieces when I want to unlock a skill or just play something else than PvE.
