How would I unlock hero battles?

I know the first thought here is to link me to a guildwiki page, but I'm afraid it won't help. I've unlocked all the heros, gone through the PvP tutorial with both my Ele and a PvP character, and done everything that I've seen possible. Yet, Hero Battles still eludes me on the map of the Battle Isle.

Any help here?

I have the same problem with two accounts. Just *another* Anet bug they probably can't or won't bother to fix.

did you make a pvp toon and then talk to the priest of balthazar? thats all it took for me, has nothing to do with going through tutorial.
