Im suggesting we have access to all secondary and primary normal skills on our entire account to use on all secondary profession for all characters on our account in PvE.
Example;
If you chose secondary monk on for your elemental, you may not have bought or capped any monks skills while playing as your elemental. Either due to no gold or skill-points.
So if my idea was in place, you would be able to use the seconday monk skills bought or capped on another character on your account, from perhaps your wammo.
Im only suggesting we allow them to share secondary normal skills, not primary.
I realise the point of PvE is to unlock/buy/cap these things on each seperate character and it should be for primary skills.
But because the number of secondary professions has increased to around 8 or 10 now, its not cost effective or skill-point effective to be attempt to unlock all secondary skills for each secondary profession on each character on an individual account.
If they add more, the problem will increase.
I also realise we dont need to do that, but it would be nice to have the choice to have every skill for every secondary if we needed them.
It stills means we have to take the time and effort on atleast one character to unlock those skills.
And it would NOT include elite skills, or that would compromise the elite cap title. Each character would have to cap its own secondary elite spells/skills still.
It isnt a question of being lazey, because as I mention its not cost effective or even possible to attain all secondaries on one character due to limited skill points.
Skill-points we may need to use on primary skills. This saves us using them up elsewhere.
[Edit]
Only allow this once you reach lvl20 and/or after you have purchased that secondary from the NPC second profession trader.
This removes issues of over-powerment of starting players.
Share all bought/capped secondary normal skills accross a PvE account

HELL no. Talk about reducing the replayability and lifetime of the game. I like collecting skills on characters, I certainly don't want to have the vast bulk of skills for any given character (that needed for all the different secondary combination builds I may use) simply given to me for no effort and no expenditure of resources. This is a change that would cause me to stop playing the game, actually.

Personally, I like the idea since I feel it's more efficient. However, I think this has a huge impact on actual gameplay on a fresh character. I believe "starting from scratch" is the intended gameplay when starting out a new character (whether a player is veteran or not); implementing the idea might break the game at the most basic level for RPGaming. Heroes can access skills unlocked on any character, which I think is already good thing. I don't think anything should be changed since the flow in the aspect of unlocking skills is quite logical.

I think the current system is a good money & skill point sink (not too happy about elite's but thats not for this thread).

I feel there are enough shortcuts in GW without adding another one.

I understand your point about giving someone an overly powerfull skill at just lvl1. So perhaps have them pay to have pre-captured secondary skills once they reach lvl20 and a certain NPC.
But even at lvl1 with a powerfull skill, unless they have the energy and the skill-points to use it, they cant. Especially for elemental spells/skills.

I don't see a problem if you enable this only AFTER completion of the game in wich you created the char. It would help a lot in increasing replayability of my char that i spend growing in pve untill end of game but would like to mess around with in pvp or heck even in pvp without haveing to grind my ass of for getting another 1 mill to get total unlock on that char... On top of that, by makeing it available only after haveing finished the game, you can't blame the progressive rpg factor to be lost, seeing as you have went through the entire grooming of a char anyway and most people just change builds to mess around with or be accepted in a farming group etc.

I'd appreciate anything that would allow me to start another PvE character without the moneysink of rebuying skills. There are a couple of professions I'd like to try in PvE but paying 1k for skills that I've already unlocked is retarded. Like your average GW player I'm not rich and can't just drop 30k on a new character, which is what I feel like I have to do to start having fun with the new profession. Elites aside, of course, I don't see a problem with having to cap them.
I really don't understand the mentality that PvE has to be grueling that some have. Go play a grind game like WoW or EQ.

I still believe it is important for individual characters to unlock/buy their primary skills themselves each time, and not to include elite skills.
Only secondary normal skills once you reach lvl20 and/or buy that secondary profession.

Seeing as how I often have to use a secondary mes, i would like this, but at the same time It could ruin the game. You see how much conjure phantasm destroys enemies at the start of PvE?
