Ok if your reading this thread your probably like me. You started a title only to realize it goes on forever and you will probably never get it done. Shouldn't there be a way to remove these useless titles that just take up space? I dont exactly know how this could be implemented so any ideas would be great.

it doesnt go on forever, all titles end, but some cannot be reached yet.

All you need to do is not look at the screen if you don't want to see them. Or you can uncheck any you have that could be displayed so that you don't see it.

A very long list of mixed titles we got now is just wrong.
The list should be sortable so you can put the most interesting ones at the top. Or grouped by types
Also a cool feature was suggested in another thread to give the option to replace the Exp bar on screen display with a progress bar of a title of your choice. (or for Balth Faction bar for pvp'ers that aren't UAX'ed yet)

Instead of doing that, they should have a title for having as many unfinished titles as possible. You could even have it count towards itself at first.

The list is getting ridiculous right now, I agree.
- Partial exploration and "Protectorship" titles for all three continents taking up space.
- Redundant titles like Treasure Hunter + Seeker of Wisdom.
- Plot-related titles. Lightbringer and Sunspear rank should have been merged from the start (seriously, splitting them like that is just poor design), and neither should have been titles anyway - moving them to the Faction tab makes more sense, as they've got more in common with Luxon and Kurzick faction anyway.
- The festival titles taking up space pointlessly. These can get out of hand in a hurry!
- The PvP titles need a separate tab or something. Since they're account-wide, they occupy different conceptual space to the titles that act as a kind of history of that specific toon.

the lucky and unlucky titles are annoying to have if u havent reached a tier yet and so they just sit there taking up space. It would be nice to minimize them like others have said.

Considering that A-net has limited time and resources to update parts of the game, taking time to adjust the coding needed to do this would be a complete waste imo.

It's ridiculous right now. When I was grinding for the Gamer title, I had to open my Hero window and roll down to see the title track.
So, what we need is:
- Sort options (collapsible categories, or just direct sorting of the current titles).
- Possibility for any title track or any faction track to be put on the screen.

I was acually thinking like the faction titles that you can only get if you are in a faction alliance and no one yet has even gotten the highest. I would just like to remove those titles completely off my title list. Also the lucky and unlucky ones and the new gamer or ones you just dont want to do but they appeared because of you were just playing the game and now its taking up space.

too many titles that will never be filled. lucky and unlucky are just taking up space. it'll take years to max them (assuming no exploits happen again) and they just sit there looking stupid. same with teh festival gamer title and many many others. just making them collapsible (and remembering the collapse) would be good. and also priority, being able to move the ones you're working on to the top .

The only reason titles begin to feel cluttered to me is that I occasionally want to track the progress of a particular one I'm working on, and opening that menu and scrolling down repeatedly gets old. I will sometimes want to activate one (e.g., lightbringer), but track progress on another (e.g., Treasure Hunter).
Rather than collapsible menus, we need a way to track progress on the screen (optionally) of one or more titles while "wearing" one independent of the tracking. This would eliminate the need to frequently visit the titles menu, which I think would deal with any annoyance associated with excessive titles.

They take up space?
Where and how do non-complete titles take up space? Do the non-complete titles obstruct you in some way? do they cause you issues or offence by simply being there in the titles section? what would you put in their place?
Sorry, I really dont get this thread tbh. I dont see what issue having incomplete tasks in your task list causes.
What if you removed them and then later wanted them back?
It just seems a redundant option and something not worth wasting time and effort for Anet. Not to mention the fact that your not forced to show a title which you dont want, or need to. They really are the kind of thing you can completely avoid if need be.
And it doesnt take 2 seconds to quickly glance through the title list to find the one you need. The list may need re-arranging slightly for protector and exploration, but other then that its fine.

For example I'm in a Luxon Guild now, and have also donated towards my old Kurzick guild.
To that end I will never have any means of ever completing the Kurzick Faction title track.
I want to be able to remove (Delete it) or just hid it from view at least.
The list also needs reordering completed.

Ill go as far as to agree to rearanging them. Perhaps even have the complete ones be moved to the top so easily found, or let us put them in order ourselves.

I sometimes find that my three cartogropher tracks and two treasure titles, and two incomplete luck titles can be annoying when im scanning for a specific title track. I don't think It would take much to sort some way of putting away tracks.
