Wise Decision?

Just sold all 7 of my Icy Dragon Swords for an average of 42.5k each. Now the sword is going to stay after the holiday, so prices will drop, right? However, I recall someone saying the drops will be much more rare after the event, and the price of the swords might actually increase.

So what do you guys think, did I do the right choice and sell the items before they droped in price, do you think the swords will rise in price?

The drops will stay about what they are. The only reason there were so many is 80% of the PvE population was farming them, because they thought they would be winter only weapons. Since they aren't, there's no reason to farm them, so although they will stay, there won't be as many in the market, simply because people will do other things with most of their time.

You heard Price Manipulators lol.

IDS's had nothing to do with the Holiday Event, and have remained the same rarity throughout despite price manipulators crying otherwise so they can squeeze a few more plat out of their swords.

It's good to sell all of them. It seems like you have a solo farming build which is how you got 7 swords, so if you ever need more, you can just go farm more. No point in holding up 7 slots in your inventory. And the swords are not going to become more rare. It takes quite a few solo runs to get one as it is, if they make it more rare the people who go in a party have no chance (actually, they have almost no chance right now as it is).

sell them now smart choice im sure prices will drop since so many people are farming them. so someday u mite only make 10k off one. fiery dragon swords did the same thing. good ones were like 20k at one point now they arent even worth 1k.

It is a tad low.. not too sure it is a wise move though, everyone said green prices would crash, but hey, today they are still worth some (generally)

What Fiery Dragons are you talking about. One with req 9 15>50 will still sell for around 40-50k today.

well, there was a time (during retail) when just being max damage made a Fiery Dragon Sword worth like 10k+ automatically. It didn't last long, but such a time existed.

You'd have thought having Rurik modelling them would have crashed the FDS market..
