This is just a remake of my old build (it used to have Flame Trap instead of Arcane Echo).

Duration: You can clear the southern part of the Labyrinth (the starting room) and the Ice Wastes in approximately 40 minutes.
20 minutes for the Bladed Aatxes and Grasping Darknesses and 20+ minutes for the Smite Crawlers (depends on the spawn).

hi, i put a post on here a while back might of been a month back with this build on it, i purposely took it off cos i didnt want the build getting nerfed. and ingame my names Batman Spen, PM me and ill show you an easier way my build was slightly different and included some NF skills, this however took out the WD + SQ but it works just fine, i manage 10 dusts before i pull doing around 1250 damage when i pull.

iv done pretty much all of UW with it like the trapper run. and also trying it in DoA against the stygian thats a bit harder tho as the pulls are bigger.

One thing I see with this build, though. Why use both QZ and SQ? Skill recharge reduction is capped at 50%, so SQ doesn't do anything to speed it up.

Tried the build for a week or so now, and its excellent. Duo/triple trapping maybe a little bit more fun, but hey.
The most difficult part in the whole run for me are the grasping darknesses, i often end up dead right before the traps have killed them all, but ill have to confess i never switched armor pieces/runes/weapons in my runs.
Still made quite a fortune with this build.. cheers

Very nice, and very easy. The only thing that causes me to die is when one enemy rushes my spirit too soon...thats only because I'm such a noob at luring.

Very tasty build and awesome guide on using it.

yep...not a problem at all...i tried trapping the coldies...just that i cant plant enuf traps before they return to their original waypoint...(i know the guide said no,but i thot id give it a try).i did manage to kill a couple by just bleeding them out..lol

One of my guildies uses this build, he loves it. He's able to kill everything in the Underworld except for Behemoths, I'm told. It took him a little while to learn how to lure the casters, but he ended up getting it down.

First ten attempts at the build, the only thing I heard on guild chat was:
'God %%#&** Mother %%&*@ piece of %Y%*('

Now I'm hearing:
'another ecto rofl ^^'

For the build proposes "Trapper's Speed" can replace "Serpent's Quickness" with no change to the build or order of skills - and has the added bonus of quicker trap cast times (which effectively means nothing since its the recharges that your restricter here..but meh).

Ok so I did a run and I have a question. There are 2-3 groups I can never reach to trap without killing colds (which I can't yet do)...and I was wondering if you guys could perhaps tell me if there is a way.
After clearing the first group, and the second, there are the coldfires patrolling around that small ledge (to your right as you face it from the way you came from). Run left, up the hill, theres the gap between the 2 cliff faces. Down to the left (down the hill) is 1 or 2 groups. Is it possible to get them without killing the colds that patrol up and down the hill? The group that spawns just infront of the steps/ramp to the Statue of Grenth The group that spawns furthest from you when you enter the Ice wastes, and the nearest to the *spoiler* door which "Grenth resides behind"

Yesterday I farmed 2 hours with this build and got 5 ectos! This build is fu***ng awesome! Its very easy and you can clear all bladed aataxes and others!

The first coldfires are easy, there's a next to their lower path, you can trap there and kill the Smites and then run to the next smite mob.

You can also kill the Dryders, just lay some traps near the stairs after you've cleared the Chamber. Aggro the dryders and run - the burning from rodgorts won't kill you, just make sure that you don't stay in their meteor shower. It takes a bit time but it's possible.

If you have NF, it should go faster with trapper's speed.

An above poster said that it didn't affect the recharge times of your traps *other* than the recharge reduction on the skill. That's incorrect.

Traps casting faster means that they are recharging *sooner*, so your skills will both cast and recharge faster than they would with just Serpent's Quickness.

The difference, unfortunately, is that SQ works on all skills and TS only works on your traps.

I like this build

Went on my first run this morning n killed about 8 aatxes ( no ectos yet ) n then died when i lured 2 groups of graspers (2 survived with next to no health and i couldnt run away )

Great Build and explanation, just gotta work on my luring now
