actionjacks looks more practical.. atleast if you accidently bash it sideways against somthing it doesn't look like it'll break right off and turn back into a sword :P nice job with the photo shopping none the less its greather than my ability

i always invisioned a dual blade axe.... something like the chaos axe but with Crystalline texture and the goofy rail the sword has >_>

I prefer Jack's as well, mainly due to the fact that it has a longish handle, and the blade on the end, like all axes. The One in the OP still has the handle of a sword, and doesn't really look very axe like anyway (Excluding the blade)
Although I would have to say it looks a bit more realistic than Jacks, which looks a bit too top heavy for the handle.

its infact not a katana or a long sword its like a cross between
they could always make a new prof called Soldier and wield 2handed swords :P

This is how one might look if it was designed by me in 5 mins. ;D(anet style copy paste weapon lol.)
Perhaps the axe part should be a tad bit smaller and a longer shaft ?

I quite like that design ayamari... Except if i were to make changes to it id probably make the blade not so straight edged, just think of practicality. Youd have to kinda hook the axe head onto the enemy and then pull to actually slash anything
