hey! ive been playing guild wars for a about a year now and have purchased factions and nightfall. but there are still things m not sure about;

what is so great about pVp?

how do i make money?

PVP - value of pvp is *fun*

whether you enjoy pvp is a personal matter

- can be a runner if you own Prophecies
- can pick up Elonian Treasure

pvp makes you a better player you learn how to play

and the best way to make money is chest runs you get the perfect and then sell them for tons i just sold an elemental sword

Actually, I think pvp and pve doesn't teach you how to be a 'better' player...

PvE teaches you cause you at least get a basic tutorial for that.

Also, PvP and PvE behave differently in that PvE is more predictable and easier to deal with than PvP where people can be both predictable and not and pvp is far more team oriented than PvE...

1. To make money, that's generally done via farming. for farming idea's, build's, places, etc.. please check out the Farming forum:

2. PvP (Player vs Player) is considered great by many simply because your playing against real people. This means your opponent's can do just about anything and have real brain's guiding them - not just computer AI directing them into standard approaches to everything.
