I was conned :(

Well there's a first time for everything and I just got conned. I was selling my Hajkor's Flame wand in LA for 30k, and someone wanted to buy it. He showed 30k in the trade window, changed it to 25k, then said "can I get it cheaper?". I said no and he agreed to pay 30k, but he only put in 30 gold. By the time I realised I had already clicked.

I know it is my fault but I was in a happy modd and didn't expect it so I just clicked and dashed off. I asked him to be generous and give it back (silly to ask I know) and he called me a noob and said "It's just a game". If it was something cheap I wouldn't have minded but to me 30k is a lot of money. I was going to use that money to buy some nice things for my sisters character, new years gifts so to speak. Now I can't and I'm broke.

You can't post people's names on the forums, it will be removed by a mod if you don't do it yourself.

That guy was an ass for scamming you, but hopefully next time it will teach you to be more cautious. If someone changes something like that in the trade window, instead of asking, you know he's up to something. Good luck next time.

Sorry to say this, but you should watch out for things like this.
If everyone made a topic here everytime they got scammed, it would be a total mess..
