Fiery Modded vs Fiery NF Gladius

I am slightly pissed off at the developers. Why drop a NF version of the Gladius thats has actual flames without warning non nightfall owners of the
possible scams that could be run? If you put a Fiery Hilt onto a Gladius then
it looks like a NF version in trade. I searched for Fiery Gladius & found a PC for 90k in a quick auction in the buy/sell area of the inner circle. No pictures,
no explaination of NF vs Prophecies versions so I traded a Bone dragon. I got
screwed. I'm not asking for sympathy or even compensation, although a NF version showing up in my inventory would be nice. I think you should replace the fiery gladius in NF with a flame gladius. An icy dragon sword is still OK unless you have a NF version that has ice shooting from the hilt or some
other COOL skin that everyone will pay 100k+100ecto for! My search would
have been for a fiery gladius from Prophecies not a flame gladius from NF.
I would have avoided the rip off.

The inventory icons are different for the flaming and non-flaming versions.

But the point being, if someone had never seen the inventory icon for a proper Fiery Gladius, how would they tell that what they were being offered was the right thing?

Genuine scam concern this.

Give the Gladius in Prophecies the flaming aspect & allow everyone to participate in the 100k + ectos rampage. Especially since many players
haven't seen or heard of NF versions as was stated in previous post.
I don't think there are any other weapons in Prophecies, Factions & NF that have the exact same name as "Fiery Gladius". If there are they don't have a
diff in value of 20-30k vs 100k + xx ectos! Thanks for the support Nexus Icon.
