Hi Guys,
I hope you can answer this for me. When I first started GW I created a character Ariel Darkwood a ranger. When the Nightfall pre event started I deleted this character so i could make a new one for NF because I had 3 others characters that I liked more.

Whenever I invite anyone into our guild it still says invited by Ariel Darkwood even tho I deleted her months ago

If I try to reuse her name for a new character it says the name is in use. Is it possible to fully delete this char from my account or to reuse her?

Thanks in advance

it could be possible that someone had probably used ur name thats why u couldnt reuse it...

same thing happened to me... i named my monk Pride of Healing and deleted it after i got bored of him. then when i tried to use the name again it says its being used by another player.

two months later i tried to reuse his name and it worked this time...

Always a pain when you lose a name you like...but sometimes you luck out at getting it back

You get one hour leeway after deleting a character to reuse the name. After that, if someone takes it then it's gone.

What happens is that Ariel Darkwood is the name that you were first invited to the Guild with. This name gets stored in your guild profile even if you delete it and some one else remakes it, its the same as your friends list. What you need to do is leave the guild and get reinvited to have your new name show up.

Thanks for the replies guys

I recreated a female ranger and I was able to use the same name tonight. Funny how it wouldn't work yesterday or all the previous time I tried.

Thanks again much appreciated.
