http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charr_(Guild_wars)
The Charr are a sentient race of beasts. They resemble wolves that walk upright, and maintain many wolf-like features like exaggerated teeth size, dominant claws, and maintain a fur hide instead of bare skin like Humans. The Charr also wield comparable weapons to their human counterparts (axes, swords, & staves) and some Charr wear crafted metal armor, although generally most Charr warriors are bare chested. In a size comparison, a Charr warrior is usually twice as massive, and about one and half times taller than the largest a player could make a human warrior. The Charr also vary in sizes, such that the Warriors are bigger than the Monks, Necromancers, and Mesmers of the Charr horde.
The Charr control the lands in the north of Tyria, the continent in which Guild Wars currently takes place. After the Searing, an event in which the Charr summoned powerful magics to weaken the human kingdom of Ascalon and create a breach in Ascalon's Great Northern Wall, the Charr managed to push their way all the way south to Orrian Peninsula. They were repelled there by dark magics of the Orrian King's top adviser, Vizier Kilhbron. The dark magics repelled the Charr armies, but also consumed Orr in the process. The survivors of Ascalon also managed to control the ground just to the south of the Great Northern wall. The Charr control grounds just north of the Wall, with exceptions that have been recaptured, such as the Chapel at Nolani Academy, Piken Square, and Grendich Courthouse. The Charr still manage to exploit the breach in the wall occasionally, and Charr patrols can be found in Ascalon-controlled territory.
In contrast to the Humans of Guild Wars, the Charr have united and do not fight each other in the ways that Ascalon, Kryta, and to a degree, Orr did. The Charr army is fairly well organized, and during some missions in the game, there seems to be no stop to the number or onslaught of the Charr hordes. The Charr armies are usually led by identified generals, such as Garfazz Bloodfang. In Guild Wars these Charr bosses can easily be spotted by their relative higher level, a colored glow that surrounds them (as with all "bosses" in the game*), and of course their unique name.
The Charr love combat, and they are dedicated to battle and enjoy every second of it. Although players will occasionally run into a Charr ambush, the Charr patrols can easily be managed. However, if and when fighting multiple Charr, the Guild Wars generic tactic of taking out their monks first and warriors last tends to always work.
With a few notable exceptions, such as Rotscale the Bone Dragon.
The Charr hold fire sacred. The Charr always keep a three-legged effigy burning; these are tended by Flame Keepers. If the Charr were ever to let the flames go out, their gods would not be pleased, and the consequence is as of now unknown. The Charr Elementalists almost exclusively use the Fire-line skills and spells. Charr warbands will usually create lesser effigies when they encamp. The Humans of Ascalon have recognized that Charr are usually nearby when the lesser effigies are lit, and that they can be less cautious and wary when they are not burning.
It is unknown wherether the Charr are worshiping Titans, Dragons or some other form of God. It is however known that when the Titans appeared, after being free by Vizier Khilborne, Charrs bowed to them as if they were gods. This can be interprated in several ways: the Charrs were afraid of the Titans and are bowing to them in fear, Titans are indeed the Charr Gods, Charrs are aligning with the Titans so they will help them defeat humans, or out of pure spite towards humans (who called the Charr to help them fight the Titans), or even a combination of the above mentioned. While the torches somewhat resemble Titans, the fire for the Charr effigies are brought from the Dragon's Gullet or Flame Temple Corridor and may be given by Glint or another alive dragon. Also crystals found after the Searing resemble the crystals found in Glint's lair, and the searing magic could be a doing of an angry dragon.
Tell me did everyone already know about what the vizier did? Does the Vizier have something to do with chapter 4 and what the charr worshiped as gods it said stuff about the titans but also large creatures like the dragon

Ok, we know that the Charr worship fire and later on in prophecies we learn that they worship the Titans, how do we know this? The burning effigies. I actually think that chapter 4 might be to the north of Ascalon. And I don't think we will see a return of the Vizier, if anything it will explain Glint more.

vizier is dead come on ppl we killed him twice now its sure gw4 will be somewhere north now i am not sure about if we gonna see charrs again
(i hope we will)but a betrey between the gods(see norse mythology)as loky in norse mythology did and he caused ragnarok i hope grenth will ally with an outcast god(i dont think that god will be dhuum cause as we know grenth took dhuum's place and inprisoned him)and they will try to destroy the world and the other gods of course but no one knows

The charr DO worship the titans, because you can find titan-like statues in the charr-territory in pre-searing: http://gw.gamewikis.org/images/b/bc/Titan_Effigy.JPG
The charr story is finished as well isn't it? The Vizier blew up Orr, and the Charr with him.
Oh wait, if he did, how come we fight Charr after we defeat the Lich Lord??
Definitely Charr I say for ch4.

I know there has ben diffrent topics on gwen but this is a more detailed sunbject.
They gave away too much I think we all know Gwen is going to show up this is the discription of the little girl Gwen.Gwen is a little girl encountered outside Ascalon City. She disappears after the Searing, leading to a lot of speculation about her current whereabouts. She should be put in the game because she is special she attually was a kid with a name but in other guild wars game all the little kids just say kid(lol.)So whats her purpose in the next chapters. Is she good?,Bad? tell me what you thinked happined to her after the explosion.Let me remind you she did not die from the explosion you can see that she is outside of the city has the rocks come down on the town. Did she travel threw cantha and elona and even the north of tyria? Did lich take over her soul? Did she starve to dealth? Who where her parents anyways? Was she a hobo? tell me, tell me, tell me every little detail.

Well I dont know much about where she might be now, but I do know she aint dead. If u go to Underworld and wait a bit at the start, her mother (Sara) will ask if u've seen her daughter.
Also to those that has seen screenies of end of beta event Gwen is a bad bad girl burning down the town :P
Truly I hope we meet Gwen again, because having her annoying jumping, but decent healing with u in presearing was quite nice in the long run.

There is nothing known about ch4 yet, but you still make a thread based on your "research"? It's all guessing, like with the dragon race. How can you know there will be one? You can't. You made topics like this before, and you got told same stuff like this, so stop doing it.
Feme Assassin
just w8 till ch 4 comes out
Elite Yakuza Yuki
I'm hoping that she will be revealed in the fourth chapter as maybe a Hero or Henchmen such as Mhenlo and Devonna. Maybe it will reveal a little about what she did, I'm sure it will say something about her working behind the scenes to take down the "bad" guys such as Shiro and Abaddon.
duncan99
lol gwen.. would be fun :P

We don't need another speculation thread for every idea you have about chapter 4. Keep it all in the current speculation threads please. Closed.

Thats a big clue, or its plane usless, you choose a side...(opinions opinions, but all statements are true of the strip in the desert, the man, and more)
Elona reach-in the proph campaign described guild wars 3-nightfall
Zehlon reach-in the nightfall campaign possibly describing guild wars 4-???
Zehlon is on nightfalls island.......it is an explorable place, with a big meaning.
Many clues lead to believe how this is connected to atleast....some campaign, could be the 5th one.....but examples below lead me to some ideas.
Dialogue
In Zehlon Reach:
I've heard rumors of a spirit ship sighted just off this coast. Yes, an authentic, bona fide, ghost ship. Why don't you swim out and visit it? Too bad. In any case, there are dimensions out there other than the one we currently inhabit. This ship is clearly an echo of one of those dimensions.
Now heading north of Zehlon is in tyrias desert. There is a strip on the desert that we arent allowed to go into, the strip is in the middle of the map, best place for travel........The ghost ship leades me to think that undead will be involved. Demensions say that the guildwars campaign will not take place on this world.......we will start off having to get to the portal of all dead and climb into it.
In Fahranur, The First City
there are items that hold a certain archemetrical infusion...sorry, you would say "power." People who understand the usage of vicissitudinous items, such as me, desire to obtain them for reasons you could not possibly understand. Trust me, your mind is just too small.
I think hes talking about the orr staff. He will be in one of the campaigns. The staff can control demons from the under world and bring them to the serface to obay your evry command. Witch is why the undead might be after this staff......
he certain scroll I am searching for deals with a place of Nightmare, and the terrible beings that dwell there. Are you frightened yet, little one ? You should be.But now, leave me
could be talking about the Torment, they could also be talking about the demention of the undead.
They belonged to a most effulgent mage from an exceptionnaly advanced civilization. He was able to traverse through multiple planes of existence, some of which predate the one you currently call your native soil.
Mage?.........more Civilized? This mage has powerful travel spells, a machine with ultimate travel power.....or dementions....
"I implore you to keep your voice to a less vexatious shrill."
In Mehtani Keys
Why am I here? Fine, if it will make you move on. Water is powerful; more powerful, I'm sure, than you realize. It can be used as a mirror to see into places that are magically obscured. As you can see, we are surrounded by the viscous substance, and I happen to have a bowl. I will leave it to your dizzyingly vigorous intellect to put together that parcel of information to your own avail. Now...please..leave me alone!"
Demention could be underwater.........or this is a metaphore for a clue inside this place.....
I'm trying to view the stars for some investigations I am conducting. No, don't ask any questions, I'll tell you more without your pedantic babble. Hearing you stumble around trying to command the simplest spoken phraseology is simply too frustrating for me.
In Lahtenda Bog:
The gods can be seen in the heavens...to varying degrees. They've emblazoned their marks upon the firmament, and these marks are not constant. As per established parameters, I'm sure this is entirely comprehensible and beneficial knowledge to you. How very clever you are."
A sign of the location, where the demention is?
all this information and more is found in nightfall , the man that says these words randomly appears in order to each place.
