There was a previous thread by this name. Judging by the number of viewers there is extreme interest in this subject. Unfortunately the previous thread was somewhat ruined by people posting what they think they should get from the coffer or what they would like to get etc.

My idea of this thread is to collect information and then post a summary that will help players decide if they want to exchange valuable gems for this item or not. To this end, please, keep the posts short and informative, just 1 line per post, stating what item you got. If you have never openned a coffer, please simply don't post here.....

Opened 29 coffers total, I'll try to post them exactly as I got em, but results may be slightly inaccurate.

First attempt- 5 scrolls
2nd attempt - 5 scrolls
3-8 (bought at same time) - 5 titan, 10 scrolls, 10 elixir, 5 margonite
9-11 - 5 rubies, 5 elixir, 5 torment

At this point I felt disgusted with the things, but being that I really have no interest in tormented weapons and was maxed out on gold (so I couldnt sell the gems), I figured might as well go for broke and instead of trading in for an armbrace, get 15 coffers and hope to get an armbrace (or mini mallyx) randomly being that a guildie of mine got 3 armbraces out of 15 coffers -.-. Here are those results:

40 elixirs, 15 scrolls, 5 titan, 5 stygian, 5 margonite, 1 Primeval Armor.

Had 3 Torment gems left over from the original 15, so I bought 3 more coffers immediately:

5 scrolls, 5 elixir, 5 diamonds.

Overall:

60 elixir, 40 scrolls, 10 titan, 5 stygian, 5 torment, 10 margonite, 5 diamonds, 5 rubies, 1 Primeval Armor

Hope this info will persuade everyone to waste all their hard earned gems on buying coffers!

I've purchased three Coffers so far; don't get a chance to go into DoA too often because of how damned long those quests take, but the results were:

Coffer 1: 5 Margonite Gemstones
Coffer 2: 5 Sapphires
Coffer 3: 5 Rubies

A friend of mine opened two and got a pair of Tormented Daggers and 5 titan gemstones. I wasn't quite so lucky (obviously), but plan to waste much more money on coffers in the future.
