The Temporal Nomads

So i have been working with a low budget lately and i wanted to make the most of my armor (sentinels) so i put this build together:

strength: 10+1+2
spear mastery: 12
motivation: 8

skills:
Barbed spear
Blazing Spear
Cruel Spear {e}
Flail
Enraging Charge
Signet of Synergy
Remedy Signet

again because of the low budget i only have a pre-order spear at the moment, so that is what i have been makin due with.

If i could get some feedback i would appreciate it, thanks!
only thing that i have problems with is the awkardness of signet of synergy (need to target opponent, then find the monster / player i was hitting again) if anyone can come up with some better self-heal that would fit this build i'd appreciate the ideas!

my ign is Mara Maxwell
thanks

EDIT: ssorry about the missing skill its just res sig. (also added which is elite)

Might have better luck with a RaO Spear Chucker...but I dunno...

Looks ok, but you're missing one skill just so you know.

Sticking 8 Motivation for one skill seems sort of useless...I would rather go with Healing Signet or Lion's Comfort...

Anyways, Strength isn't very useful really...to put 13 in it...Strength only gives AP on your attack skills. I would drop some for Tactics and take out Motivation.

I see no reason why this requires the Warrior primary. O.o

Flail might be a nice IAS but you can just use Flurry or Frenzy on a Paragon. It isn't like you're taking damage as a backline shouter/spear-thrower. Maybe an explaination as to what you were trying to accomplish? All you say is you wanted to make the most of your armor, and really that should be done by having high strength and being up front hitting things. If you want to be a Paragon, be a Paragon.

Honestly I think you'd be better off just using a normal warrior, for single target damage I'd go with Dragon Slash. I don't see any reason you're using spear as opposed to an actually decent weapon line that the warrior already has. As for self heal, Lion's Comfort works well in PvE, you have good strength already and just dump some points into tactics.

spear chucking is pretty fun... in ab i built a w/p for fun and took a different role other than frontline damage dealer... my build looked something like this...

[card]stunning strike[/card] [card]enraging charge[/card] [card]disrupting throw[/card] [card]Berserker Stance[/card][card]blazing spear[/card][card]merciless spear[/card] [card]remedy signet[/card][card]healing signet[/card]

with[card]Soldier's Defense[/card][card]"watch yourself!"[/card] as optional

Gonna chime in on this "Use a paragon instead" and "Warrior builds will deal more damage". Whether it is being done just for fun or not, I once had a series of encounters with a W/P in RA running a spear build. Believe it or not, he did serious damage. I have no idea what his build was, but he was very annoying, and I was monking it. Never lost to his team, but it was RA and his little fun build was rather strong.

for it to be a truly valid build...there needs to be a key skill in the strength line....otherwise your just getting less energy and +10armour vs physical....(and less attributes in spear mastery)

from what I can see...some strength skills would do nicely...but perhapse not worth the trouble...considering the overall damage/effect

[card]flourish[/card] + [card]harrier's toss[/card] [card]spear of lightning[/card] [card]vicious attack[/card] [card]flail[/card] [card]enraging charge[/card] [card]blazing spear[/card] [card]healing signet[/card]

besides the stunning spear....this may work?? in addition but not sure if its worth the trouble...

as far as using skills from the command/motivation line... I just dont see anything truly enticing to the melee warrior

wow, i never expected to see this kind of great feedback!
first off i really appreciate all the info that you have been giving me.
second:
i have beep running a slightly modified build lately and it has been dealing a lot of damage, although compaired to the dragon slash build it still needs some work. (if someone could explain how to insert the picture of my skill bar i woud appreciate it. the skills are:

Enraged charge
healing signet
watch yourself
barbed spear
cruel spear {e}
mighty throw (still glitched)
res sig

my attributes are 12 spear, 10+1+2 strength, and rest +1 in tactics
keep the ideas rollong, maybe we can start a new trend of warriors! (yay for something different)
