Lightbringer Points - Easier way to get them

I don't really want to reach that title faster, but i don't understand why a crazy Titan from DoA gives you the same 2 lil points than a weak Vabbian Jinn

They should be dependant on Monster killed and area, not only area.
Insects are ridiculouly easy to kill, margotines and sadows are cheap, but when it comes to torment creatures, it's not the same.

The rewards given for quests 10 Lightbringer Points is a joke when you need 5000 to get to the next level. At least make this a percentage based on your level of Lightbringer. If Lightbringer was only a title and not allied to skills and damage done, then I would not pursue this title. I have 70% of Elona because I have done the quests not because I am seeking 100%. If having 80% made me a little more powerful then I would explore more.

How about allowing bounties to be offered for killing margonites / demons / shadows in the high end primary missions - Grand Court, Jennurs Horde, Nundu Bay, Ruins of Morah and Gate of Pain and Gate of Madness.

That way players who are fighting against the creatures of Abbadon, on the way to defeating him, are rewarded and become slightly more powerful in the lightbringer stakes. That would allow people to work on lightbringer at the same time as protector titles.

It also rewards those players, guildies etc who spend a lot of time helping their friends or guild mates through those missions to get a reward for taking part.

I suppose you could also open this up, so the lower end missions on noob island, istan and vabbi could give Sunspear points - so that title could be upped to 50k for max level as well.

Upping the LB point reward from quests (to a point where you earn more LB/hour doing the quests than farming, even after taking failed attempts into account) would do two things:
- People could get LB quicker, or they could go for the slow farming route.
- People would be wanting to do side quests, so you could find help with them easier.

Though to be fair, the would have to be retroactive to the people who already have the quests completed, but as ANET has records of who has the quests complete this would be doable.

I agree with you this doesn't make sense. I'm up for a minor increase completely.

Though one random thought I had is if Anet held a weekend event based on lightbringer points. Do you think they will ever do this? Do you think it'd be a bad thing?

I think a double lightbrigner points weekend would be good because for a start it'd still only be four points, which is what the majority are wanting. Plus its a temporary thing as weekend events are- So no massive amount of over farming, what do you think?

I think the Sunspear title could be maybe given an oppertunity to progress to the max maybe during this time aswell.
