How long have you been playing?

Started almost 2 years ago, with the beta-event in January 2005

Can't believe this game is already that old^^

11 months and still enjoying it.

The only other game that ever held my interest this long was Civ3 and that was much more intermittent.

About 2100 hours in 20 months

Agewise its.
2352 hours 38 minutes over the past 20 months ( didnt play for 8 months)
But i also been playing since the betas.

Since release. ~2000 hours non-afk played.

4403 hours and 7 minutes over the past 20 months

43 Mins
12 Months

I reached a year playing this week

3805 hours 7 minutes (probably 8 minutes now) over 20 months... + a second account, so meh... probably 4100ish

2780 hours over 17 months

capping 4 hours straigth can get boring xD

12 months here. And I'm getting bored of Guild Wars quickly. Apparently they designed the game to get boring after 4 months for that you would be forced to stay bored, quit, or buy the next chapter. Big disappointment for me, I thought I was going to get a great game when I bought it.

Luck based PvP system, forced teaming, and linearized, unskippable missions make me very hesitant/unwilling to buy Nightfall.

12 months of play 2199 hours 7 minutes thats on average.... no life :P

Some high numbers..

#1 account 1200 over 18 months
#2 account 100 hours over 5 months

I could never do the 6-8 hour sessions like you lot...limited attention span hence 8k+ post count on Guru.

I have almost no life outside of gw.



edit: When I'm afk I'm sprinting to get what I need and come back....rly
When I'm posting on GWG my game is minimixed while heros are killing for me. lol

1,902 hours 25 minutes in 17 months.

And I thought I had no life. LOL, not referring to you, BlueSS, just the amount of playtime, like.. damn.

I got 2800, probably 2801 right now or something in 20 months*.
Quit for about, say, 2-3 months.

But most of the time it's just me leaving my computer on overnight/afking. xD

Ok I do get on a lot, but almost all of my play time is with my girlfriend who plays Guild Wars also (that was one helluva fight to get her to try it, but I got her hooked). And that total is for my main account, my secondary account I hve had almost a year now (first character is almost 1 year old now), so my total play time will be higher. I work offshore so I have a great deal of free time to do as I wish, so guess where I go.
