Alliance Roster

I have found that my friends list is filled with all the members of my alliance and I have no room for my friends. wouldnt it be efficient to have an alliance roster which would be identical to a guild roster, except you could hit a + or - to shrink or show an alliances roster just like your own. i have conferred with all my allies and i have over 50 that agree thanks a lot im sure everyone in the game would apriciate it ^ ^

Glad to find this topic in Search. I was just at our Alliance Forum, and someone was wondering whether the allies should merge so we can see who is online.
Especially as our alliance crosses some big time zone gaps.
I would like an alliance roster to see which allies are online. I don't think it needs to be as detailed as the Guild roster or even the Friends roster, both of which show offline players. Just being able to see who is online would be a great help, and may be more useful if you are part of a huge alliance with thousands of members!

I suggested this one evening many months ago while Gaile was visiting in one of her usual haunts. She said it would be downright difficult to do, as many alliances have the full 1000 members.
My idea was if you opened your guild roster, went to the alliance tab, you could then click on any guild in the alliance and then see their guild roster.
I don't know if that's possible, since I have no idea how it was all coded, but I sure did want an alliance roster waaay back when, and I'd love to have one now.

It's a great idea, but I think the added bandwidth and overhead for this might make game performance suffer, especially for people with older systems. Having to load an alliance list with 500+ names could be quite a problem.

That could be why you access it via a separate tab, much like the Guild tab. So if you don't want to see who is online in your alliance, you don't have to deal with the temporary loading lag

I'm in [DAD] (guild of the week woot) but we are so massive we had to split into 4 guilds of the DAD alliance with almost identical names. We have 1 euro guild and the rest american and i cant keep track of everyone at once

-been saying this ages ago to guild, it needs it, im sick of spamming whos online all the time, wud be good to view alliance rosters instead of just their halls :P or maybe have a scribe in the hall called

Also perhaps this has been mentioned buyt the search keeps crashing browser for some reason, but like friendslist like guild roster, instead of offline/online perhaps time they last was online, ex 30 mins ago 3 days ago, cuz theres countless times ive been frustrated trying to get on at a time a friend is to then find out they had been in spain for 2 weeks lol
