I play my rit almost exclusively now. There are just so many different ways to play as one that they just do not get boring.
I am glad to see so many others enjoy the class.

hm, I have been playing my mesmers alot.....but I still like to play my eles best, then probably my mesmers, then.....my rit
I play my monks and my necro, but just not as much fun.
least since I have never had them---warrior, assasin and dervish, -and paragon (but I do have one ---she is a mule now)

Monk. I'm skilled enough to be the backbone of a party, so why not be?
Didn't play any other character until factions came out.

I only have 3 char's - warrior, ele and ranger and they would all have to be equal first.
I love playing them all for different reasons and really couldnt choose which of their professions would be my fave.

1. Warrior - My playstyle is naturally aggressive, and I tend to be a loner, so being on the front lines all the time is great...plus how can you not love chopping heads (hehe...maybe GW2 will have blood...)
2. Necromancer - Minion Master is fuuuuunn, in contrast to playing a warrior, letting the minions tank for you, while you hit the enemy with draining spells or hexes or disease.
3. Elementalist (air magic) - Love lightning bolts...plus I like how you can setup a system of enchantments to keep the health and energy coming while you blow away the enemy...plus Whirlwind kicks ASS when you find yourself on the front lines.

Choose between my casters? Oh this is gonna be hard...
1. Rit - she looks adorable, and I can change my build to suit my mood.
2. Monk - over 1,000 hours on her, mostly acquired in fow
3. Necro - mostly I like to solo with her, she'd come in lower if it was just team play.
4. Ele - love her armor, and what's not to like about setting mobs on fire?
5. Mes - again, great armor... but I made her in prophecies and I wish I could get her a new hairstyle. I like the challenge of playing mes, but my mes isn't often wanted in groups. Although for pvp, I prefer mes over any other class. Gotta love owning noob warriors in RA.
6. Dervish - love the way she looks, the avatars, and the fact that although she's melee she's still a caster. Also I've been very pleasantly surprized by her ability to stay alive.
I could never limit myself to just one class. There is only one profession I don't like: warrior. I don't like just wacking things with big pieces of metal (especially since there's no gore), and after having gotten all my casters through the game, I just found it too mind-numbingly easy and without at least the excitement of flashy AoE damage or cute armor.

Monk - mainly because the most enjoyable play is when the team is actually alive to do something
Ele - burn!
Mesmer - denied!
Necro - really versatile, very fun.
Rit - when I'm feeling like I don't want to pay attention much to the fighting
Ranger - Broadhead Arrow. 'Nuff said.
Paragon - <3 de buffs.
Warrior - ehh, i'd rather play something else, whacking things isn't fun

The Revolutionary
First place, by a long shot, is my Rit. It's nice to see Rits getting so much love... It's even nicer to see Assassins swarming me and my spirit of Destruction that's been alive for about 20 seconds in AB... Before I hit 'em with Grasping was Kuurong and Rupture Soul for a nice li'l spike.
Second place? Assassin. It's nice to see 'em being somewhat useful now. The first class I ever played, and my first character to hit level 20. Unfortunately, my 'Sin is no longer with me, but whenever I want to slice some faces, I'll throw together a quick PvP sin. Should really make a new PvE one someday...
Third place? Gotta go with Dervish. Nice armor, nice dances, nice big, huge scythe cleaving through the forebrains of my enemies. I just like what they can do.
4) Monk. Female monks are adorable, and keeping people alive is always a good thing.
5) Mesmer. What can I say? Nice armor, plus I like messing with peoples minds.
6) Necro. My only PvP character is a Minion Master. Nothing better than seeing a bunch of Kurzicks running for their lives from a hoarde of undead led by a guy named Doctor Hugglebuns.
7) Ranger. Gotta love trapping. Very versatile class.
8) Paragon. They look very cool, I've just never played 'em...
9) Ele. Even though I love setting things on fire, (who doesn't?) I just never liked Eles. No clue why.
10) Warriors. Words can't express how much I hate Warriors. Too simple, too fugly (...Except the females. ) and no good armor.

Ele's are tons of fun to play in my opinion. Even though I don't play them very often.
Necro's (MM's specifcally) comes in behind.
and monks/Dervs I also enjoy, though currently I do not have a monk.

Mesmer in Need
I bet you couldent guess my favorite character. But seriously, i love being a mesmer. Tooled the right way or paired with sertaint secondaries, i can disable and/ or destroy any opponent. but i have been playing with my monk and my warrior lately to farm, get rich, and explore. but my mesmer was the first one to beat prophecies.

1. Ritualist. Can solo PvE, group PvE, alliance battle, etc...the versatility (and uncommon-ness) of her makes her my favorite to play.
2. Warrior. My true first solo PvE love, and the character that I try to solo the hardest parts of the PvE world.
3. Necromancer. She kites, she kites, and she kites some more. She is incredibly powerful in her "preset roles" in group PvE, and is quite formidable in solo PvE - but her indirect "killing me softly with hexes" approach can be a bit taxing. She's probably my most powerful character, however.
4. Ranger. Having a hard time getting used to him, but in the end I may wind up liking him almost as much (or more) than my Ritualist.

Choices, choices. Here's my order:
1. Ranger - Love the ability to have a pet and I love the bow because I can fight from a distance and pull targets)
2. Mesmer - I love domination magic. Spellcasters and melee fighters can be brought down fast!
3. Elementalist - Energy storage, woot! And many different elements to play with.
4. Dervish - I like all my enchantments that set foes on fire or blind them when they end, plus the avatars of the gods. And Chilling Victory pwns.
5. Necromancer - I like curses the best, especially with Spiteful Spirit
6. Ritualist - Spirit spamming helps take out enemies fast. hehe Love all the yellow numbers.
7. Paragon - I like using all the spear mastery skills and I have a skill that removes the blocking stances (just forgot what it's called)
8. Warrior - Not big on the front-line attacks but I do like using strength and choosing between the sword, hammer, and axe.
9. Assassin - I don't know why, just can't really get into this one even though it has critical strikes.

1-Necromancer
2-Elementalist
3-Dervish
why?
Necromancer because its really cool 2 play with SS and solo farming...
Elementalist because they spike their enemy and their are strong and easy to handle
Dervish Because they are doing random damage in an group with 1 attack so stronger than Warrior.

3. Monk or Elementalist
I love playing casters as it seems to take more thought instead of just hacking and slashing away at a target until someone dies. My first character was a Mesmer but I was told they were horrible and quit it. I tried out Ranger and Monk but never got past level 8 with either in Prophecies. I then tried out Necromancer even though I hated the idea of working with minions and stuff. After playing through Pre-Searing and some other parts, I knew that was it and it soon became a special profession and will always have a special place in my heart!
I tried out Mesmer last night in PvP (Just some RA, nothing big) and was having a blast! I still can't interrupt perfectly and I'm unsure as to what some skills should be but I'm having fun just trying to learn it as I've always wanted to become a big PvPer and I love playing "underdog" classes. I'm still trying to figure out if I want to be a full-blown interrupter (I had an idea of using a bow and ranger skills too), be an energy-denial (Probable) or just a full melee shutdown.
I don't really know what comes next as it's a tie between Monk and Elementalist. I think I'd have to go with either a Water Elementalist or an Earth Elementalist. There seems to be tons and tons of Fire and Air Elementalists so it's a nice change to play as Water or Earth. I'm not that great at monking, but I did monk a few times in RA and once or twice in TA. Was a fun experience - until the party wipes because of energy-denial.
