I've tried to complete this mission three times and it always ends up the same - I get to the dock and there's no escape boat! I kill all the bad guys and get all the bonuses, but at the dock, the timer just counts down, then I lose. What gives?

check the U map, there is a flag there wich tells you where do you have to go exactly, also make sure kormir and shahai dont get stuck somewhere, they both have to be with you when you get close to the escape point.

if the above doesnt work, then a bug i guess.

Did you ever tried to get to the end of the docks?

OK, I had this happen... what got me is that one of the NPCs you pick up at the cutscene gets stuck and doesn't follow you. The sister one there... whatever her name is. I had to go back for her (still over six minutes left) then work like a bugger to get her to shake free and finally cross the bridge. Still, she would hesitate... finally started following. (At this point, everything's already dead on the route we need to go...)

I finally get back to the escape spot, and there she is, taking up the rare as the timer counts down... 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... Mission complete.

I almost woke up my wife laughing.

If it happens again, check to see if all your NPCs are in range... one likely decided she had better things to do than follow you.

I've had Kormir and her attendant get stuck a couple of times. The favorite place seems to be coming out of the jail and heading down the bridge. Check every so often to make sure they are following you and run back to them if they aren't.

I've seen this also. They can both get stuck leaving the jail. I've even seen Kormir refuse to leave the jail, even though she will follow me around inside the jail, she won't step across the dooray.

Keep checking that they are following. There's a few places they each can get stuck at, and it's much faster to free them right away than getting to the docks and realizing that Kormir is wandering the streets blindly.

I found the npcs tend to get stuck near the carts... id try taking these turns wide so as to minimize the chances of that happening
