Critical Strikes and other weaponry?

Simply put, does the assassin skills in the attribute Critical Strikes require daggers or not? I noticed that I could still use Malicious Strike with my Wintergreen Sword, so I was wondering if I could do the same with say Black Lotus Strike or Twisting Fangs.

Skills labeled "Melee Attack" can be done with any melee-type weapon. Skills labeled "Lead Attack", "Off-Hand Attack", and "Dual Attack" require Daggers.

I shoulda figured.

I'm pretty sure if it says "lead attack" "offhand" "dual" you cannot use them without daggers. However, if it says "melee attack" you can use it with any melee weapon. And the attribute points in critical strikes does function with weapons besides daggers.
