Two-Man Farming? 55/SS

I kind of fell out of the guild wars universe after factions was released and have only recently crawled my way back in....

When I left they nerfed UW so that baddies went after the person dealing the damage (so the SSer got blitzed).

So exit me.... couple months later... enter me..

And people are hooking up to do 2-man UW runs. So I figured I'd hit my reputation on this forum instead of hitting my wallet on GW and ask straight up:

Did they go back to the normal way so two-man farming is good to go now? or are people doing different builds leaving me utterly clueless?

Different builds. They made another wonderful change to the AI of melee mobs, such that if there are more than 3 of them attacking a target, and they have low health, they will take turns to rotate in and out of battle to regen health.

I believe solo builds are back in fashion as well.

Then there's always farming forum.

But above all, UW farming never stopped even for a second. With every change it took about a day to find a working build again.

The Oldschool build still works too, but you have to be careful aggro because, like Xeth said, if you aggro more than 3 the SS will be taking a lovely jog across half the map to stay alive. There is a different build out, where (me)the SS brings Succor and Essence Bond, and the 55 takes the SV/AV - I thought it was pretty neat as I've never done it that way. But yes, to sum it up, dual SS/55 still works, you just have to be more careful.

many ppl now use stoneflesh aura ele to farm uw

what i found works really good is just switch part the necro just becomes a 55 necro with SS and the monk with you brings spell breaker and casts it on you and since the necro is the one casting the dmg skill they attack you it works pretty good
