looking for a fire pve build for prophecies

i don't have factions or nightfall so it's been hard for me to find a build on this site that used skills only available to prophecies..

You will still find it hard, as when Prophecies was the only campaign there were many builds for the Elementalist. Then skills were changed (some say nerfed, others will say buffed, etc.) when Factions came out. Then more skill changes when Nightfall came out.

Anyway, I am not an Elementalist (I only have a Mo/E) as my only experience with elementalists, so take my advise with a grain of salt.

Aura of Restoration
Immolate
Meteor Shower
Mark of Rodgort
Conjure Flame
Elemental Attunement (e) or Ether Prodigy (e)
Fire Attunement or Flare
Rez Signet

Normally I wouldn't like using Flare, but with EP, you need to spam as much as possible to avoid its nasty end affects.

Again, I'm not an Elementalist, so don't think this is a great setup.

Use:

Glyph of Sacrifice
Meteor Shower
Ether Prodigy
Heal Party
Rodgort's Invocation
Draw Conditions
Restore Life
Fireball

Or something along those lines.

Note: Ether Prodigy is an elite from Ring of Fire mission near the end of the game...you never said if you'd just started your ele...so you may not be able to get this.
