Anyone got a good w/mo build for farming char in pre?
Crazyvietguy
Uhh.. why would you want to farm pre? Hopefully not for those amazing 3-5 damage swords

He's most likely farming Dyes which can be profitable...just not as much as other farm methods.
leeky baby
INO for fun?

"build for whammo". You have like what? 20 skills? bar res signet. Creative Mate.

You're in pre, so you have barely any skills to choose from... it shouldn't be that hard. Bring Sever Artery, Gash, Healing Signet, and a couple monk spells. Done.
Covah
you barely get enough skills to fill up ur whole bar 9-12 skills. Don't even start with builds.

ok ill make it so easy that you could not possibly have any trouble understanding this!! Oh, and should go W/R in pre so that you can get troll + pet for little extra dmg when farming.
W/MO
Attributes:
Evenly spread between both Swordsmanship and Tactics (depends on level)
Skills (sword):
Frenzy (attacks 33% faster -8secs-) this will help you get adrenaline for the next two skills
Sever artery (foe bleeds -Xsecs- (depends on level))
Gash (+Xdmg -20% max health Xseconds (depends on level))
Healing signet (with decent tactics this should be the only necesarry healing you will need for most farming)
Orison (++unnecesarry healing)
Breeze (++unnecesarry healing)
Retribution (enchantment that deals damage to enemies --not sure if this is available as a secondary in pre--)
Resurrection Signet (for farming with partner)
So basically get to for ranik, head south until you hit the spiders and scales, and farm away for dyes! gl.
Ps. mo skills are unimportant for this particular farming.

i'd go W/R with a pet, use a bow, 'read the wind - frenzy - heal sig - charm pet and res pet'
this is the build i use to lvl myself for LDoA can clear the altar in ~10mins
i use the nevermore bow, as its max though..
you can upgrade your acc to get it for 2.99 or something.

Well I'm 100% sure.
I farm Charr... a lot because i'm going for LDOA. Actually, you don't need a build or anything. It's very very easy to farm them if you know how to use the walls.

haha no kidding, I laughed when I read the title of this thread
go obsidian flesh tank.....or grenths/riposte
seriously though how many skills can you choose from? things that damage them and heal you, and press left click

You have got to be kidding me...
Look at how many skills you have to select from before you ask for a build... There's only like 10 at the most.

The OP might be looking for Charr bags , hence a specific desire to farm Charr.

Perhaps, but seriously it takes 1k to upgrade two bags to 10 each.. and i'd probably take upwards to 2 hours to farm charr to get charr bags.
dr1zz one
I created a new pre sear char to go for the LDoA title. Its been about 2 weeks of farming charr and I have gotten about 14 bags. You can make good profit while going for the title. Im up to about 50K in pre on this char now.
If it was for charr bags or the title, I think knowing "the spots" and how the charr mobs react is more important. There are "walls" that you can use to protect against ranged charr. Im level 16 now and a group of 4 charr can easily kill me still. But if you know where these spots are, you can take on 2-3 charr at a time easily.
