E/A builds for PvE

I'm looking for a good PvE build for my E/A. I will eventually move on to PvP, but for now, I need a pve build. I didn't find much on wiki, so I'm asking here for some advice. First of all, what element should I go? I would prefer to not to fire since that seems to be so commonplace and I would like to be at least a little bit more unique. But, if fire is truly the most powerful...Its still early in the game for me, so I don't have access to all the skills so I'm not sure about water, air, or earth. Any suggesyions?

Oh, and I have all 3 games, but I would prefer to not have to beat them all just for a couple skills. The character is in Cantha, for primarily core and factions skills are preferable.

That way you can cast a water hex (preferably Blurred Vision so there is a 50% chance to miss), Ride the Lightning in to the battle...use Lightning Touch. Use Return on the Monk (or any Back-line Caster) which also Cripples the foes and then Arc Lightning....rinse and repeat.
It's not the best build in the world and there are some energy issues with but dear god it's fun to play. You may be within Melee range for a while but it only needs to be a few seconds to use Lightning Touch.

If you wanted to use it, I think as far as attributes go I had maybe 15 in Air (11 + 1 + 3), then split the rest between water and energy storage.

If you need Ride the Lightning it can be capped from this chuckle of a boss.

Again...to stress this is not the most sensible build in the world but it sure is fun

On the whole when I go ele I use all ele skills with very few exceptions...I just find myself having to room for much else.

Edit: Oh yea, before someone says "ZOMG that wouldn't work in PvP"....NO...It's not meant to...and before someone says "ZOMG There is no res"...NO...I never take Res when I play as Ele...so shoot me
(hopefully that covered all bases)

thanks for the reply!

I only want to use 3 attribute lines, and I have one in energy storage, and another in shawdow skills for assassin for some self healing and shawdow step stuff.

So I really only want 1 element to use. A guildie told me earth was the way to go. What do you guys think? Can I make a viable Ele build with earth magic using mostly core and factions skills?

So if you're wanting to use earth you should probably combine it's defensive capabilities (armor of earth, wards) with skills such as Aftershock and Shockwave {Elite}. It's not advisable to have an ele so close to the foes. My build incidentally doesn't have any points in Shadow Arts...I just used it to escape and it happens to cripple for 3 or 4 seconds.
