Today i re-intsalled GW and found that my terrain had gone back to a blocky squarish state. I use to have the same problems but after doing a search here on Guru I found a thread where someone had posted a link to a new Nvidia driver that fixed this problem.
Now this helpful thread has been deleted I am stuck again with squarish terrain.
I'm not the best with computers, but I know this worked, does anyone out there know the link to this driver?

Look under the drivers section. If it's a real old card make sure you pay attention to the driver family names.
