Stupid Sousuke! That click means your spell won't work!

OK, another hero AI flaw here: they don't notice when they can't cast spells. I'm taking one of my Sousuke-equipped characters through Factions atm (it's actually a Factions MM which I took to Elona just to get heros), and the AI can't cope with Shadow Form. Whenever an enemy 'sin uses it, Sousuke will repeatedly try to cast spells - and I mean at least twice per second - resulting in an annoying as hell clicking sound (from all the 'spell denied'-type messages).

Sure, it ain't costing him any energy (since Shadow Form prevents the spell from beginning to cast, unlike Spell Breaker) but the noise is annoying and surely he could switch targets?

Are you sure it' s Shadow Form?

Like Spell Breaker, spells cast at a creature with Shadow Form on will not only fail, but will cost the caster their energy cost as well.

So...?

They attack whatever target you do, if they did otherwise there would be tons and tons of complaints. There are far fewer places following your lead is wrong than where them choosing their own targets is wrong. That is life with the AI and why they tend to only be as good or bad as you are.

You switch targets, call it, and they should be OK. Though there currently is a bug where they do not always follow you.

And you can lock them on another target with a button on their controlpanel.

Uh...disable his skills? lol...

Just lock Sousuke onto a different target.

Why are you playing with Sousuke anyway? I would always pick Jin over him cause she was cooler and he was bleh.

And as for his competence, this is what Sousuke says from time to time:

"I've never cast this before. Hang on!"

Seriously, why would u pick him?

I picked him because I am an Elem and I wanted to have an Elem hero (this is a Tyrian char, and I had no intention of playing through NF with it to get Zhed)

And.. if the clicking sound bothers you, turn off the sound.
