Ok So I've been Reading Around.

I decided to make my monk...some of you might have seen my other post about how effective non 55s are but it turns out I had enough gold to finance the 55.


Mainly I need to practice on trolls because I have little farming experience and absolutely none soloing.

I've read in a few places that if you take a few second intervals between your castings with zealots fire they won't run away

I also read that they will run away and regen when they get knocked down by SoJ

can anyone collaborate on this for me.

Also if anyone could show me a little live demonstration of soloing trolls outside of droks that'd be great.

Trolls run away now when they are below 50% health or so.

So you have to kill em fast.

Look at the Mo/E troll farming build.

Melee Mobs > than 3 in size will scatter from AoE once they're at low hp. It makes it a bit of a pain now to kill them all. Not to be rude though, but if you use the search button you'll easily find most of this out...there are countless posts about this.

Ele's can still solo trolls

Well, I've read countless threads and they each say different things...and I just put all my gold into this 55 and need something to practice on.

i use the mo\e 135hp monk and solo minos. Don't solo trolls. If u have nightfall u can farm the howlers right outside yohlon haven.

You should be able to solo hydras in the desert. I play a 55 SS Necro and I have a hard time killing trolls. But hydras dont seem to scatter. So you can practice on them. Their pretty easy. But the drops are not great so you wont be getting rich there.
