Colors and loading times- bugs?

I was jst wondering if right around now if everyone is suffering from the extreme load times- it took me 45 minutes to log on to my account, and I couldn't even play because areas wouldn't load (I waited half an hour for LA to load, and it wasn't even working) Also, when I looged on all my chars armor was a different color and style- I logged in two hours ago and it wasnt like that. I gave no one my password, so theres no way it could be someone else. I was just wondering if anyone else is suffering this problem, or if you have before, what did you do to fix it?

Ultimately, the best way to reduce load times is too use the -image switch in your command line shortcut from time to time.

"C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -image

I have noticed longer load times of late, but attributed that to more players being online due to holidays and also some server issues in regards to portals.

But, your situation seems very extreme and looks like you should use a -image to get your game up-to-date. Background updating does impact performance and load times.

Thank you for the suggestion, I'll try to do what you suggested though I'm not the best computer whiz so it might take me some time The only way I know how to do that is to do it from the menu on GW, but it wont even load for me. I'll try it tommorow morning, but I'm still open to suggestions!
