I have been hooked on Guild Wars from the moment I started making my first character in Prophecies. It reminded me of Diablo but on a much larger, 3-D scale. The storyline go me hooked, the different characters made me want to go back and replay the game, it was easy to learn but hard to master.
As each new version came out, I noticed several postive changes: the music keeps getting better, we got material storage, dye previews, armors sets that now could be fully interchangeble, extra character slots, mouths that moved during cutscenes, customizable heros...etc. So for making all those positive changes, Anet, I would like to personally thank you. I also saw the making of Nightfall DVD and it was cool to finally put a face to Gaile Gray.
After 3 games, however, I found some things I really missed about the original. I miss being able to farm areas. I never spent my time chest hunting for good weapons because sitting in town trying to sell things is just plain boring. I used farming as a means to make some gold, to get the basic things I needed and as a way to just relax in between missions, or when there was only 1-2 other guildies on. It is harder to make gold now compared to the good ole griffon days. I still solo farm for green weapons but I usually only farm an area once and I always keep the weapon....especially now with heros! There is more things to spend gold on now with heros, and many of us find it harder to make it. I actually caught myself looking on ebay for GW gold prices! How about increasing the amount of gold for doing quests/mission/from creatures? Because splitting 102gp 8 ways just ain't cutting it and I don't want to sit in towns spamming WTS.
Storage. The material storage was a good start, but with all the characters we have on one account, you can blow throught 250 of a single material on one set of armor. We need larger storage areas plain and simple. Maybe give us 10 extras slots for each new campaign we have? Especially now that we have heros for each character it would be nice to be able to store more weapons in storage so that we can trade them in and out to each character's hero or change a hero from axe to sword...etc. We should not have to make a character just to be a storage bin, unfortunately most of us do.
Skills. There is one skill combo that never made sense to me, so I figured I'd post it here. Basically when a person gets crippled or slowed via a hex, using a skill like sprint or whatever should still increase their speed by 25%. If they move 50% slower then use sprint, they should only move 25% slower. It just seems like that is how the skill combo should work. It also seems that even when I use a speed skill in Nightall like Harrier haste, the creature I am chasing down is still able to run away without any boost?
Sorry if some, most, or all of this has been stated before as I have a hard time going through posts here. The forum is very slow to open page through, so although I love this site, I find it near impossible to read through most of the threads.

Understood. I know the feeling. Solo'ing an Area is entirely impossible for some Professions now. E.G Troll farming and Warriors... (problem) Trolls make constant critical hits. Conclusion unable to block, evade attacks.
Too hard to make anymore gold. Thats why I gave up playing Gw's..Its not the way it used to be. I miss the old ways.
