IDS farming

Benn trying out a couple of IDS farm builds I found on guru, the w/mo build seemed to work the best but I can't take the damage.
When I arrive at the ice I get mending,bals,watchful up and rush in, doyaks on, watch urself and defypain up and yes I can stand and whack away for quite awhile but only manage 3-4imps before i die.
in the guide I read it said to go for the ice golems (lvl 24 menace) first but they run away from me and with doyaks on there's no way I'm gunna catch him.
Am I missing something here fundamental to the technique?

I use a shield of the lion -2dmg/+45hp enchanted req9 str
Firey dragon sword 15% damage enchanted 7ar vs ele
full glads armour

It's called stupid updates.

So is there a solo build that works for IDS farming?
I notice an awful lot of mo/ww 55's hanging round granite citadel, all bots by the looks of em. Are they farming the IDS?
