Trial Items

I looked real fast, but didnt find an answer in the posts I saw.. So:

If I were to get a trial key and use it for the time given, and I were to get some items and gold and things... would I be able to trade them off to my Prophesies character before I ran out of time and keep them as the trial ended, or would they disappear when the trail character went into "lock down" or whatever?

They don't disappear. You can trade them off if you wish.

Wrong they changed it so that trail accounts cant trade anymore.

Update - Wednesday December 20

Demo accounts can no longer trade or drop items, to reduce the use of demo accounts by commercial gold/item farmers.

I didn't realize there was a change. I could have sworn I gave some stuff to a guy on a trial account this weekend. Thanks for correcting me.

Although I would think if you add the trial key to an active account that you could use your own storage and thus keep anything non-customized. Anyone try that?

You probably could give stuff to a trial account, but receiving items from a trial account is different.

Indeed if you look at it from the side of comercial farmers it indeed is no good to be able to receive stuff on the trail account,what they would needs is to be able to receive things from the trail account.

For normal players say you gave your buddy key to your friend you could borrow him a perfect weapon to be able to pvp ( since he doesnt have it unlocked)

Also either they did use trail accounts or Anet thought about how it could be used by them,think about it, they get trail accounts farm for the 10 hours and then give to full account, the trail account may get banned, it still doesnt affect them since the trail is already over.
