Either merchant both of them or merch the first and salvage the second for the fortitude.

Um, check the skin of that earth staff before you salvage it. If it's orrish, it'll fetch a lot more than the mods I imagine.

Not with an Air casting mod it wont. Besides, Orish are nowhere near as rare as they used to be, infact they seem to be the default NF skin for Earth staffs.
