I know this is a weird question but here I go.. I have been collecting some flowers, pearls and shells for a while and now I'm just wondering.. exactly what kind of different items like that are they that one could collect?? Quest items or not make no differance, as long as they are stackable

Thank you in advance

Quest items are only useful for the quest that needs them. Satisfy the quest (like 10 Ibolga Petals) and you don't need them anymore, throw away any extras.

Collector items may be useful, check out the list of collectors on guildwiki, what they want and what they offer:

As to quest items, DO NOT throw your extras away if the quest calls for multiples of the same item. You can sell them to another player who was not so lucky with his drops.

And if you want to know how many collector drop items there are in the game, guildwiki has a list. A link should be on the Collector page linked in the previous post.

What i acctualy mean is how many different flowers, pearls and shells (and other beutiful things) there is that are stackable, becourse i am collecting them for fun. Like the swamp flowers that i have around 70 of right now and still collecting more. All i want is to have them for fun, not to complete any quests.

And i'm also not only looking for only quest items, but also other items (such as Red Iris Flowers)

I have two of those but i find them pretty hard to collect masses of, due to the small amount and how late in the game it is

Those items are for quests only, you can't trade them in for items.
And I think it was possible to keep clicking on the swamp flower te get more
and more, or was that another quest item...

It sounds like the OP is in Pre-Searing Ascalon. I just left there... It's horrible afterwards.

If this is the case you can give some of those items to Gwen stood outside Ascalon City (somewhere behind the res shrine) and it makes her like you more...?

Generally if the item says "Quest Item" in the description, if you don't need it for a quest you can generally throw it away. If i has a value (eg. 3 Gold) then it is may be a collector's item which you can use to trade for better armor/weapons.

There are three "beautiful" items in pre-searing, the Beautiful Pearl, Beautiful Feather, and the Beautiful Pendant. They're quest items for the "Gift for Althea" quest.

Hope that helps. :s

On the pearl, beautiful feather and worn necklace: they are useless out of Pre-Searing. so you can get rid of the extra. Those items are used for the quest "A Gift For Althea" in Pre-Searing and just take up space after that. The Red Iris Flowers had a use but the quest in FOW they used to be for is and has been broken for some time. Maybe they will come into play at a later date.

I have no idea how many items like that there are... gwens flute, gwens broken flute, tapestry shred, juni berries, zetukahs jug, zetukahs horn (horn doesn't stack though) are just a few in addition to the ones you have already collected. Oh! What about that quest item from Factions - that teddy bear. =)

In GW: Factions there are 2 flowers that you collect for a Monk profession quest on Shing Jea Island. Nong Berries and a Tai Ling Vine, or something similar.

The shimmering scales is a great idea Only it'd take quite a while to collect large numbers of them

That reminds me... I have about 200 swamp flowers (I like to hoard too) - PM me if you want them for your collection.

Glowing hearts, Luxon Pendants and Jade Bracelets are also quite cute to collect or give out as 'tokens of affection'.
