I just came up with a very effective hero build for elementalists using the new buffs, primarilly with combining water and air. It has a very high DPS with just Zhed, Norgu, and a monk hero, and would be even better with Sosuke but I dont have him yet
And no, Searing Flames isnt part of the build:
basically use the following Air bar on yourself and Zhed/Sosuke with 16 air, 13 ES:
[skill]Lightning Orb[/skill] [skill]Arc Lightning[/skill] [skill]Chilling Winds[/skill] [skill]Lightning Touch[/skill] [skill]Invoke Lightning[/skill] [skill]Chain Lightning[/skill] [skill]Air Attunement[/skill] [skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
And the following Water build on Norgu with 16 fast cast and 12 water:
[skill]Icy Prism[/skill] [skill]Ice Spikes[/skill] [skill]Deep Freeze[/skill] [skill]Frozen Burst[/skill] [skill]Glyph Of Lesser Energy[/skill] [skill]Mantra Of Recovery[/skill] [skill]Water Attunement[/skill] [skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
Mantra of Recovery can be swapped for elemental attunement if you prefer.

I've tried giving heroes Elemental Attunement and <Element> Attunement...they only seem to put one enchantment on...
Also, does Norgu have any energy issues with that? Zhed shouls have about double Norgu's energy...yet Norgu has the higher energy skills.
I tried my Zhed with Chain Lightning...he just spammed it as often as he could and exhausted himself.
Personally, I tried to combine the two into one hero...then use Norgu as an incredibly good interrupter. I use the following on Zhed:

He uses it "ok"....I would like to work maybe another skill in there but... meh. I'd rather he had a reusable res. Lightning Touch really works? I'm surprised Zhed doesn't get hacked at a lot being so close to the enemy with that one. I made another build kind of along the same lines and used [wiki]Ride the Lightning[/wiki] to get to the foe, then Lightning Touch, then [wiki]Return[/wiki] to get away....but Zhed may not use them intelligently.

I had no problem running this, Zhed didnt exhaust himself too much and norgus energy was fine..... I actually tried it with tahlkora as a 3rd air elly and its too nice, I want sosuke asap.
But water + mantra have just been unbuffed so its a bit pointless now.
Hopes for the elly changes to come back please.
The point with this build is that 3 invokes tears through mostly anything, but you have to manual cast the spike to get it perfect, and the water hexes buff up the air skills used. Im gonna try it still with blurred vision + rust over deep freeze and frozen burst, but the old icy prism is useless.
