Hey, well I just started my Ritualist, and well I'm was looking around, and I was hoping to come across a decent argument for secondary professions that allow for providing decent healing using your offensive spirits and removing the occasional hex, well by the looks of things from past experiences, monk seems to be my only option is that so, if not why?

thanks

Mesmer also allows for hex removal.

As a ritualist you'll probably find yourself running a full rit skill bar most of the time. I wouldn't worry too much about your secondary profession: monk would probably be easy to start out with though. You can always change it later.

I've been running Rt/Mes or Rt/Mo usually and only then for hex removal, but DeBron is right... Rit is a pretty complete package. Oh yeah, if you wanna offensive self healing monsterpiece, look no further [wiki]Caretaker's Charge[/wiki]

As stated above monk and mesmer are good secondaries since they allow for hex removal. If you are not planning on being a resto rit then the secondary really does not matter.

Looking for guild

for a resto rit, as stated above, the best options are mesmer and monk. I personally prefer mesmer for the hex removal and also e management, but monk is also a viable option. If you get bored of being a restorit, then try out the rit/necro, there is very good synergy btw these two.

Thanks so much for the support I like the mesmer as a secondary, just because I seem to always use monk as it, mostly because I'm normally on my MM or Tank.

actually Channeling has fine e-management elites: [wiki]Offering of Spirit[/wiki] and [wiki]Signet of Spirits[/wiki] are both viable OoS is superior for resto rit with only one or 2 spirits though. With that taken care of the only thing remaining is hex control, and the only classes I know of with skills in that category are /mo and /mes. For anything other than a healer, well yeah who cares

Edit: yes I do NOT count hexbreaker aria as hex removal

I just wish I could double echo caretakers charge, who needs anything else?
