I am mostly a PvE loner firstly...
I was wondering, after searching the forums and not finding a definitive answer, are green drops by party size or location (ie, the way people are saying lead your H/H'ers till they go gray). I know what seems to be the right answer and that is a party ratio but...
Mostly, I've finished most stuff so I am just finding my style of entertainment in a *very* good game series!

Quick question about greens

Each boss has a specific chance to drop a green. However, when that chance happens it drops randomly for one of the players in the party. So if it does drop you have 1/8th chance to get it in a praty size of 8 on top of the chance it actually drops. When you flag henchies to grey it makes it so it doesn't drop for them so it is a 1/1 chance you'll get it if it drops.

It is usually quoted that a green has a 5% chance of dropping, that is 1 in 20. Your chances with a party of eight are one chance in 160. Flag away the H/H and it's back to 1 in 20.

Guys I didn't know that!!
How do you flag away the Heroes and then expect to kill the mob?
Could someone please explain how this is done?
Thanks

2)flag hero/hench way off, until their names grey out.
3)kill the boss.

Heh.... I wish it were that easy.
This weekend, with triple the green-drops... I'm seriously trying to work out the best build for dealing with Lou of the Knives.... I can take him down with help from two monk henchies or one monk hero.... but taking him down on my lonesome is something I have tried at and (as I recall) failed....
Then again, I don't remember what builds I was using when I tried it.
I might actually try unlocking some water elementalist skills... and actually try nuking Lou to death from a distance while keeping him moving extra slow...
As for the Monk's Construct that I want to defeat.... I can only achieve that with help. It takes my full team of 8, along with Olias's minion hoarde, to take the group down.... but if I could remove everything but the construct itself.... well.... I might stand a chance....

Well- you could always let the henchies wipe and just rez the ones you need. It would take some coordination, but with setting the flag, upon rez the monk should make a bee-line to the flagged area and leave everyone else behind. Then maybe you could pull the boss to the flag.
This is all just conjecture. Never tried it myself, but it seems plausable.

Well that is good news indeed. I do appreciate everyones input and glad it wasn't "pure party ratio".
