From that thread, it sounds like the 8 monk team wasn't so much a "build" per se, just a bunch of monk players screwing around. I'm sure it can work fine, but it's not the type of thing that you're going to see on a regular basis.

well imo its not to hard, tho now id say the build might have been nerfed,
ud need, 1 600hp tank ( tho SB has been nerfed)
1 SS monk
1 Zelots protection smiter
1 Smiter in general ( sig of judgment)
2-4 healers.
