Possible Assassin in game already?
Mila
Okay, so I started a new character. In pre-sear if you have the monk profession, protector Grazden gives you a quest to protect Farrah Cappo while she captures the outlaw Alain.
Now, if you think about it, ANet most likely worked in the new professions long ago. They just didn't include them in the first release. This Alain guy strikes me as maybe being an assasin that's in game already? He has a two handed weapon and doesn't use any skills at all. Just like all them bandits. All other creatures use skills from a certain proffession except him & the bandits. They're completely without skills. I think the assassin class has been rigt under our noses all along.
Anyhow, here's a screenshot of him. Sorry it's not the best ever, Farrah beat him to a pulp rather quickly.
So what do you think?
P.S. I don't take credit for noticing this. My good game buddies brought it up to me first. I snapped the pic of him.

Er...Probably, but I don't think that whole double-sided flame thinger would be available, and what point were you trying to make about the no skills thing?
Mila
I mean they use no skills. The stone type guys use ele skils. The grawl have their assorted skills. Every PVE enemy you come across have some skills tying them to one proffession or another. Except for these guys. I suspect they haven't been 'activated' yet (for lack of a better word). Come chapter two, they'll probably have assassin class skills. (just my two cents)

There is no assasin skills yet in the game. So if Aidan = Assasin he will have no skills yet. Nearly every other creature in the game has a skill to use.
EDIT Beat me to it xD

Elena has a point barely any monsters in pre have skills....one question though are they actually thinking about releasing a assasin if so will there be an expansion or just a new patch?

Man that is something. I'd love to be a designer or mod w/e of Gw... Ah well...

FWIW, that's what the Galrath bandits look like. I actually went "hey look, a ninja" when I saw them.
Lambentviper
the stone elemenatists dont use any skills. the ice ones do. River skale broodcallers and below dont use any skills. Restless Corpses, and Raging Cadavers dont use any skills. Giant Spiders dont, grawl dont, worms dont, most bandits dont (exception with firestarters-flare).]
So are all of them gonna be a new type of character for the next release?

I knew someone would say that and,
No, it was not a river skale broodcaller.
It was a level 4 River Skale Brood. He used Aura of Restoration and Ice Spear.
