What classes do oyu think the Ideal Party in Guild Wars will have
Vorianatriedes
I was just wonderign what everyone though the ideal party would have in guild wars heres what I think it is based on what I know and what people have taught me.
Rit/M
N/M
W/M
D or P/M
E/Me
R/
Me/E
A/W
Rit/Mo can heal the entire party effectively so saves having to have 2healers. W/M and D or P/m can take all the damage for everyone alongwith the assasin can interupt thier bosses along weith taking them out. N/M is obvious for those who its isnt has something to do with a ravernous horde. Me/E takes oyut their healers and powerful casters while doing abit of damage to other people. E/Me does alot of damage to all of them and helps takes out thier casters. Ranger interrupts them abit and spreads conditions along with haveing a pet to help distract them adn maybe trapping them abit. This is just my preference what about everyone elses? If you have alot of casters though I find having a BiP can be very useful.

Excuse me but a Rit. can't heal a party a effective as Monk or can directly protect them as they can so your Ideal Party doesn't look to good and you have a Derv. and an Sin who can't take that amount of damage 1 is enough.

4 Barrage Rangers
2 Dragon Slashers
An orders necro
A zealous benediction monk.
It's what I annihilated Nightfall with, it's just so broken really in PVE.

For PvE? 1 Monk, 1 Necro Minions/Orders, 1 Paragon/Warrior (Command/WY), 5 (Dragon Slash, Barrage w/ Pet, Dervish).
Distribute as much defense as you need to get by with 1 Monk.
Peace,

I'm a fan of:
R/Mo (Barrage)
R/Mo (Barrage)
R/P (Barrage)
R/P (Barrage)
P/W (Support)
E/Mo (Nuker)
Mo/Me (Heal or Prot)
Open Slot
The open slot can be another monk for damage-heavy areas, another barrager or nuker for areas with large groups, a spiker for individual targets with evasion/blocking stances, an Orders or Battery Necro... basically, whatever the group needs for the particular area.
Before I get a lot of "Zomg, where's the tank" or "Lol, 4 barragers?" posts, I run this exact team breakdown quite often - "Stand Your Ground!" on the two R/P's and "Watch Yourself!" on the P/W turn all the rangers into tanks when you combine them with Whirling Defense, and with my Paragon spamming Song of Restoration, Aria of Zeal, and Energizing Finale, I have more than enough energy and healing to keep the group going with one monk. Throw in "Go For The Eyes!" on the three Para's and Wild Throw on the primary one, and you have one heck of a nasty group.

Seef II
The more offense (Warriors, Rangers, Dervishes) you pack into your group backed up by Orders or minions, the faster you kill in general PvE.
Barrage Pet + paragons, or Ensign's build work fine. You don't need 2 monks.

Well i'd go with
Mo/ele (ZB prot)

1 para or rit (which can supply both offensive and defensive capibilities)
1 blood support nec (read; orders, wells and +nrgy rituals with occasional armor-ignoring spike skills)
4 other damage-classes.
its the basic template that has worked in all 3 games for me. except that when rits and paras didnt exist you'd just take a mes, ranger, MM, or whatever. but, in prophecies there wasnt as much of a chance of your party being wiped.

4 other damage-classes. Yeah, this is what I usually run in PvE. Except for places like RoT and such, I play more defensively.

PvE is easy:
D/X
W/X
N/Me
N/Mo
2 * N/E
N/Mo
N/Rt
you just cant beat necros in PvE

Tiny Killer
The more I play the more I think "Give me 8 of whatever". As long as everyone has some self healing ability and a reasonable degree of playing skill party make-up does not seem to matter much. The only time things seem to go poorly is when certain builds/classes are "required".

Domain of Anguish and the Factions Elite Missions are the only areas of the game that need more than one Monk.
With the nerfs to SF/GG, MM/Orders is the only caster worth bringing in PvE on an ideal team.

6 Lyssa dervishes (D/Rt, D/W)
Distribute copies of Nightmare Weapon, Splinter Weapon and Wild Blow throughout.
All dervishes should have both Mystic Sweep and Eremite's Attack. The D/Ws should carry Protector's Strike as well.
1 N/Mo with Healer's Boon and Order of Pain, or Order of the Vampire and misc. Healing Prayers, mostly Heal Party. Raising minions just slows down the killing.
1 Protection monk
Mo/A with Assassin's Promise and Aegis works nice for the necro's Dwayna's Kiss.

Peace,
-CxE The second monk in PvE is retard insurance against a guy who spams healing breeze.
What about a splinter/nightmare/brutal weapon rit to buff up your physicals?

1 N/Mo as a MM or BiP.
1 Rt/X for either weapon spells or restoration.
1 Mo/Me for healing and/or protection.
1 E/X for offensive/defensive earth magic or offensive fire magic.
1 R/X or Me/X for interrupts.
3 High damage attackers: preferably consisting of W/Xs and/or D/Xs.
I try to be fair to all the classes when forming a PvE group.

Everyone should bring Ritual Lord, Boon of Creation, Union, Shelter, Recuperation and Pain.
Spam Pain, and then keep up spamming protection so the defence multiplies and pain will never die!

Except you can't have more than one of each type of spirit per team, so you fail.

I was kidding.

Why do people keep asking for the "best" party or the "best" skillbar? Guild wars is such a big game that can vary greatly. There is no ideal party, as it can be different from area to area. A perfect team in a regular area can consist of 7 damage dealers and a monk if the monk's competent to make for fastest killing and completion of task. A "good" DoA party consists of a tank, 3 damage healers, 1 support, and 3 monks. An "ideal" PvP party can never be achieved, as the game is constantly evolving.
