Sorrow's Furnace Questions

I'm pretty new to GW, but I have recently managed to play through all three of the campaigns. I was looking for some other fun PvE stuff to do, so I did the Margonite City in DoA, but it took an agonizingly boring/long time to beat it so I have decided not to try the other DoA areas.

I found out about Sorrow's Furnace and it sounds like fun, but I have a few questions about it:

1) Do groups still go here to play?
2) Is it hero/henchable?
3) From what I have seen it looks like there are 5 or 6 quests in the area. Are they repeatable or are there other things to do in the area besides those quests?
4) Is there something other than Sorrow's Furnace that I should go do?

I also thought about trying the Underworld but North America only very, very rarely has favor when I am on.

1) People do 5 man farming groups, usually consisting of a Tank, MM, SS or Ele, Healer and Bonder. Not many people actually do the quests though.

2) Definately. I did them yesterday. Keep in mind that when you do Galen's one, there's a Stone Summit dude called Krak Flamewhip that gives you 5 more quests, each rather easy and that take you to the 5 places you need to explore. Just saves you time having to go back to every place just because you didn't go just that bit much further.

3) They appear to be repeatable while you still have the quest (To Sorrows Furnace), but I'm not sure it will be after you accept the reward.

4) Bosses there drop greens. Max ones. Rago drops some expensive stuff (I saw someone selling has staff for 70k?!? I'm glad I bought mine for 20k ). Farm them if you like.

WPG guild teams still head there every now and then. Another area is Tombs, off of Dragon's Lair in the Crystal desert. Did you get the Titan quests in Droknar's Forge after beating Hells Precipice?

Sorrows and Tombs are nice in that greens drop regularly as opposed to the way greens drop in Factions and Nightfall.

Another green to hunt is the totem axe which drops in The Falls in the Maguuma Jungle and you can get multiple on a trip if you are lucky.

Yeah there are several high-end pve areas that are enjoyable, unlike the long and boring DoA. Once you beat Prophecies you can do the end-game titan quests. There is also Sorrow's Furnace as you have mentioned.
-The Fissure of Woe, which is my favorite pve place in the game
-Underworld, its generally harder to find a group to quest here as most just
go 2-3 man and farm it for ecto
-The Tombs of Primevil Kings the old HA that became a pve area when the
battle isles came out
in Cantha there is the Deep and Urgoz's Warren

On another note if you need someone to do any of the Prophecies areas with feel free to pm me in game. I will gladly come, as long as I am not busy with pvp or a mission. i say prophecies areas b/c the other ones are lame.

1) Do groups still go here to play?
Yup, but mostly 5-man farming groups, not much variety.
2) Is it hero/henchable?
Most parts are pretty easy to do with just henchmen only.
3) From what I have seen it looks like there are 5 or 6 quests in the area. Are they repeatable or are there other things to do in the area besides those quests?
The quests are repeatable (and give good exp). There are more repeatable quests to do inside Sorrow's Furnace and every boss has a chance of dropping green items.=P
4) Is there something other than Sorrow's Furnace that I should go do?
As other already mentioned before: UnderWorld, Fissure of Woe, Ruins of the Tombs of the Primeval Kings, Titan quests, Rotscale.

And I'm also always up for some farming or questing out in these area's (unless I'm busy >__>), so just PM me if you need help.=P
